While I probably still need some time to adjust to the major fashion trend of the ugly sneaker that has been kickstarted by Balenciaga’s Triple-S Sneakers, I can definitely see the appeal of these stiletto velvet heels, famously nicknamed “Knife” which are also by Balenciaga. These 4,5″ designer high heel pumps feature the brand’s original BB monogram on the vamp in gold and have a very long and pointed toe which is inspired by the sharp blade of a knife. The pumps are made of soft black velvet and are manufactured in Italy. And since they’re Balenciaga, they’re obviously also quite expensive: $950.

Luckily, there’s no need to spend almost $1k if you like the look of Balenciaga’s Knife Monogram Pumps because Dune London has got your back! Their Belvedere pumps are a beautiful and classy homage to Balenciaga. These heels also feature a bold brand monogram on the front, are made of luscious black suede and have a super high stiletto heel and a very pointed toe box just like the real deal. The major difference is – of course – the price difference as the Dune London version will only set you back $140, not $950. And to be completely honest, I kind of slightly prefer the dupe in this case as it looks sleeker to me. What about you? Which one is your personal favorite? The real or the steal deal?
