I loved, loved, loved Yves Saint Laurent’s Spring 2009 collection. Every single piece was bold and fabulous and I adored the caged heels that were presented on the runway.

Celebrities & YSL Spring 2009 Caged Heels
Unfortunately, the caged heels have long been ignored by the celebrity world, but the trend has picked up slowly since last month. Tilda was the first who was fearless enough to sport them on the red carpet. Ciara and Becki Newton followed shortly after.

Luichiny Star Bound Sandal
This YSL knockoff from Luichiny is not quite as extravagant as the original. You can see the shoe has been mainstreamed (bootie length, heel, open-toe), but it’s still a great alternative to YSL for a fraction of the price. Other available color options are silver and bronze.

P.S.: Also available at Heels.com
Bakers Ashton Caged Heel
If you want to save some more bucks, try this YSL alternative from Bakers. It’s quite the same as the Luichiny knockoff and also comes in either black, silver or bronze.

($69.99, Bakers)

Hi, Steve Madden has a similar caged bootie you might want to add to the knockoffs for this YSL beauty.
I’m buying the Steve Madden knockoffs as it’s the only brand of knockoffs that is currently available in our country. Thank you! I knew when I saw that Steve Madden caged booties on the shelf that I’ve seen the YSL version here in your site. I have never forgotten it ever since, lol. Anyway, here’s the link to the Steve Madden version: http://www.stevemadden.com/item.aspx?id=49250&path=|womens%20shoes|womens%20platforms|
By the way, the Steve Madden version is on sale right now.. at only $49.98 per pair
