I’m absolutely loving our newest edition of Copycat Math because it combines two of my favorite things in fashion: espadrilles and Dolce & Gabbana. Espadrilles have seriously become my new go-to shoes to wear in the summer months; they’re super comfortable (also breathable) and there’s something so effortless chic about the jute sole, the rough side stitches and the canvas fabric. And do I really still have to explain why I’m such a Dolce & Gabbana fangirl? The designer duo’s creations are the epitome of Italian elegance and opulence! I’ve been loving every single one of their collections in the last few years and feel like this isn’t going to end anytime soon. So the first time I saw that Dolce & Gabbana came out with a range of gorgeously embellished espadrilles in their iconic summer prints, I was instantly obsessed! Until I saw the price tags on these and my fashion heart crumbled! Luckily, a few days ago I discovered a set of espadrilles by Chinese Laundry which look so much like the Italian real deal, but cost only a fraction of the originals: $79.95! How awesome is that? Total steal deal alert! Now the only question is: which print should I get? Nah, just kidding, I’ll take them all!

Chanel espadrilles, round 3. This time we’re showing you the leather version (see the mesh and canvas version here). The top color combination is my personal favorite! Perfect shoes for summer, don’t you agree? I’ve said it before: despite the hype surrounding these shoes I still really like these cute espadrilles, but there’s no way I would spend so much money on a pair of espadrilles even though I can imagine that the leather version is the most durable of all the three variations. But still, $550? Um, no, thank you.

Satin sandal slides have been a huge trend this year and Gianvito Rossi just knows how to make a chic summer flat that will look fabulous both with dressy dresses or with casual jeans or shorts. I love the effortlessness of being able to simply slide into a shoe and be instantly ready to go. These are the perfect shoes for a summer vacation! If you have the lavish shopping budget to opt for a pair of flats that’ll set you back $595, of course.

If you happen to spend some time on Instagram occasionally and follow one or two major fashion accounts, chances are you’re probably already familiar with “Les Bonbons” by Rebecca de Ravenel. These ball drop clip-on statement earrings which are made of lightweight silk, are handmade in India and come in a variety of lengths, materials and colors, have been designed by up-and-coming jewelry designer Rebecca de Ravenel who grew up between the Bahamas and Paris; an influence that is reflected in her aesthetic (check out her fabulous Instagram account) and her colorful designs which are both bold and playful.
