Real vs. Steal – Valentino Bow Espadrilles

How precious and supergirlie are these Valentino Bow Espadrilles? What a lovely summer shoe. Of course, a shoe like this begs to be paired with a breezy sundress, but I also think they’d be a nice contrast to a pair of denim cutoffs (which are everywhere already). But you know espadrilles aren’t known for being a great return-on-investment—once they reach a certain amount of wear, they have to be binned. Cute as they are, I just can’t justify $495 for an espadrille.

  • Absolutely agree with you about $495 for wedge espadrilles. One really good season and they start to fray at the bottom…love the cheaper options that you chose!

  • Thank you, Hillary.

  • The last pair is the best!
I thought the black patent was a little stark for summer too (maybe it’s just my pale legs!) lol.
