So I’m a little obsessed with this woven leather wedge by Givenchy. I think it’ll be a great look to have in your wardrobe and it will go with just about anything! From your cut-off shorts to your long-fitted dress, this shoe is a must have! But I know it can’t be a must for everyone. Especially since the price tag is as high as $1.212! Hence keep scrolling down for a more wallet-friendly option.

MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge Sandals

I really like the rust color of this MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge. Such a summery color and really fun to wear. Especially if you want that pop of color! The shoe also comes in ginger and antique brown though as well. All three colors are great options to get the Givenchy look down. Priced at ~$111, I think this wedge is a smart choice.

Real vs. Steal – L.A.M.B. Kesha Braided Platform Sandals

I’m not sure how your feet will feel after walking around in these L.A.M.B. stilts for a few hours, but I can tell you how amazing your legs and feet will look in these! A little stripperish for my taste, yet if that’s your thing, no judgement! Not sure if you want to spend $325 on a pair of shoes? We’ve got an amazing deal for you!

Type Z “Calah” Platform Sandals

I actually like this shoe better! I like the heel and I like the fact that the platform isn’t so terribly high. This Type Z shoe definitely gets my vote! Priced at $125 you can keep your wallet and your feet from not hurting as much.

Real vs. Steal – Stuart Weitzman Alex Espadrille Wedges

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Aniston‘s style. She delicately walks the edges of trends while always maintaining a classic style that I’m pretty sure we’ll never look back on, thinking “God, WHAT was she wearing?” Last summer Jen started rocking a pair of Stuart Weitzman espadrilles that had me drooling. Clearly I wasn’t the only fan though; the Alex Espadrille Wedges flew off the shelves and were forever more impossible to find. They’re back now and available on several e-retailer sites and I would probably kill to own a pair. Seriously, I recommend you not being around me right now. Sadly these are just out of my price range.

They are soooo spot-on and, OMG!, look at the price. $39.99 – this deserves an award or something (still can’t loose the feeling these are just rebranded, look at N.Y.L.A.’s Colby, Black Rooster’s Colb & Bakers’ “Midtown”, they all look completely identical).

Kelsi Dagger “Ivy” Espadrilles

We’ve featured Kelsi Dagger shoes quite a few times here on InTheirCloset and this is why. They consistently come out with great “inspired by” shoes without wandering too far into “exact copy” territory. In this case I have to say that I wish they’d stayed true to the original. The lower wedge is great, as is the color, but a braided/woven strap would have made these perfection. Ah, well, still a great shoe! Also available in pewter, black and white.

Cheap vs. Cheaper – MICHAEL Michael Kors Juniper Espadrilles vs. Diba Rode E Oh

Espadrille wedges are perfect spring/summer shoes. Recently I’ve come across the MICHAEL Michael Kors “Juniper” Espadrilles which instantly reminded me of the Stuart Weitzman “Alex” wedges (famously worn by Jen Aniston and others). At $140 they’re relatively easy on most people’s budgets, but then I happened to come across the “Rode E Oh” wedges by Diba which are practially identical twins but for less than half the price of the Kors shoes. Steal deal!

Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Coussin Caged Ankle Boots

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably gimpsed one of this season’s hottest trends: the cage bootie. I’m not entirely sure where this fad originated but I’m going to guess that it might have been Yves Saint Laurent’s Cage Leather Sandal. A delicate, architectural beauty of a shoe, the YSL heels spurred quite a few copies. Christian Louboutin‘s Coussin Caged Ankle Boots are like the big, badass sister to the YSL sandals. To me, the CL booties look both industrial and hard; girly and sweet. They’re not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, to be sure, but they are certainly works of art; and pricey ones at that.

I kinda love that they turned these into peep-toes and I’m a little obsessed with that silk bow. Wear with a simple black dress and let the shoes do all the talking. They’re not crazy cheap at $199, but they are considerably more affordable than the Louboutins, and just as drool-worthy. Yum! Available in black or natural.
