Beige pumps have become more prominent this past year, but sometimes the conservative design can look a bit drab and lackluster. On the other hand, take these Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Ankle Strap Pumps. They exude brilliance and are the ultimate example of how a nude pump should be designed. The cork platform allows one to wear them for more casual affairs, but at the same time can be styled for formal occasions. If you love this style, but the price is simply beyond your limit, then take a look at the look-a-like below!

The shape and structure are also very similar adding to the look-a-like factor. Most importantly, these are priced at $109.95 which definitely is a much more affordable price point.

Sculpted heels are becoming more and more predominant due to the architectural style and appeal. I have to say that these T-Strap Platform Wedges by Casadei are like a masterpiece in their own right. While providing a mega-boost, they also ensure comfort due to the extra support of the wedge heel. The golden bronze accent cutting through the heel is brilliantly incorporated and makes the boldness of the shoe truly emphasized. While I may not be able to afford these beauties for $960, and they are already sold out, the steal below has got me covered.

Vince Camuto “Babe” T-Strap Platform Wedge Sandals

The wooden heel is more defined in these “Babe” T-Strap Platform Wedge Sandals by Vince Camuto which really brings out the bohemian aspect. The cognac leather harmonizes with the boho-chic style of this shoe yet the sophistication of the sculpted heel is definitely present. These contradictory elements work together, ultimately bringing us a beautifully designed shoe priced at $159. As much I love the cognac color, the black version is just as stunning.

UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 12, 2012. Scroll down to see the new add.

These amazing platforms are from Charles Anastase‘s S/S 2009 show but I guess I’m a little behind the curve because I only just discovered them. While I can’t imagine anyone actually wearing them (how did the models not break their necks strutting down the runway?) I do find them aesthetically pleasing. If only that heel was just a little shorter and I think we would have ourselves a winner.

See by Chloé T-Strap Platform Sandals

UPDATE (02/12/2012): I never considered See by Chloé to be a brand that would copy someone else’s work, but the inspiration behind these platform sandals is quite obvious, isn’t it? Available in blush and black.

Jessica Simpson “Dany” Platform Sandals

I was SO happy to find these Jessica Simpson “Dany” platform sandals. They are everything the originals are but in a much more digestible form. A slightly lower heel makes them more wearable and a $98 price tag means you don’t have to think twice about bringing these bad-boys home.

So I find these suede booties with a wooden platform by Madison Harding absolutely adorable. I love the tan suede color, the lace-up front, the sturdy wooden platform and the cute collared cuff. I’m just not feeling the $275 price tag. Boohoo, what a bummer!

I’m usually not too much into 70′s style shoes, but leave it to one of my favorite designers, Giuseppe Zanotti, to make me fall in love with wooden clog sandals. Despite their chunkiness I still think these here look lovely and feminine and I can see these working with my entire summer wardrobe. Too bad that my budget totally vetos against a pair of $750 summer shoes though.

Michael Antonio “Globe” Platform Sandals

So these Michael Antonio platforms aren’t exactly dupes, but they sure give off the same Giuseppe Zanotti vibe, don’t they? Also, they come in so many fun colors like fuchsia, turquoise, yellow, white, tan and black and the price is not too bad either.
