Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Panier Espadrille Wedge Sandals

To be honest, when I first saw these Christian Louboutin Panier Espadrille Wedge Sandals I wasn’t overly thrilled. The design truly didn’t appeal to me as much as other lavish Louboutins usually do. But, looking at them actually being worn I had a complete change of mind. I really like the femininity that they add to an outfit not to mention that they can be pretty much worn with anything. I love Cameron Diaz’s outfit; she really displays the beauty of these wedges and most definitely gives them enormous amount of justice, but unfortunately it’s not the same story with the price tag. The design is quite comparable and almost practically identical with the exception of a few minor, unobvious differences. At $26.90, these wedges are a very praiseworthy look-a-like.

For a couple seasons now Burberry has found quite a bit of a Fanboy in me. Christopher Bailey sure knows how to amaze me collection after collection. I’m really loving these buckled platforms here, they’re tough but sexy and would work equally well with either a casual outfit à la Ciara or dressed up with a cocktail dress and some neat statement jewelry. But even the sale price of $450 is way too high to even think of potential outfit pairings…

Sure, they don’t even come close to the quality of the real Burberry heels and also they’re faux leather, but if you’re mainly interested in the visual similarity, these are currently your best bet. Celebrity Look 4 Less – Zoe Saldana’s EXPRESS Striped Dress

I am so digging Zoe Saldana‘s style. Seriously, Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller and all the likes leave me cold whereas I love keeping up with Zoe’s fashion choices both on and off the red carpet. Just take this casual ensemble for example. I’ve always been huge on stripes and seeing how Zoe paired her super affordable mini dress by EXPRESS with tan accessories and cool Ray-Ban aviators just makes me fall in love with her style yet once again. Chinese Laundry “Hopscotch” Slingback Sandals

It might has taken us 9 months to find a proper alternative, but these slingback sandals by Chinese Laundry sure were worth the wait, weren’t they?
