A simple summertime wedge is sometimes all a girl needs to be happy. Now what’s shocking is that this simple wedge is by Christian Louboutin – the Liberace of shoemakers! No crazy 7 inch wedge. No crazy accouterments. Just a nice pinkish/mauve patent leather shoe. If only one could “simply” find $595 to pay for this much simplicity. But oh well, how do the French say – c’est la vie!

Once again, he doesn’t disappoint with his “WISSPER” slingback wedge. The only truly detectable difference is the thicker slingback strap and buckle. Real vs. Steal – Charles Anastase Althea Platform Wedges

So the obvious 70s fashion craze is back for spring, and what better inspiration for this trend than these Althea Platform Wedges by Charles Anastase. So these may not be my latest shoe obsession, but they are already sold out! I do like the platform wedge though; it is certainly not very sensible as an everyday shoe, but that really has never interfered with fashion. The design is unique even though it seems a bit simple, but I think that’s what gives off the boho-chic vibe. However, they are sold out and regardless I don’t have the designer budget.

Though we have months ahead before it officially becomes spring and summer, these Mojo Moxy “Cher” Wedge Sandals are great for early shoppers. Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Panier Espadrille Wedge Sandals

To be honest, when I first saw these Christian Louboutin Panier Espadrille Wedge Sandals I wasn’t overly thrilled. The design truly didn’t appeal to me as much as other lavish Louboutins usually do. But, looking at them actually being worn I had a complete change of mind. I really like the femininity that they add to an outfit not to mention that they can be pretty much worn with anything. I love Cameron Diaz’s outfit; she really displays the beauty of these wedges and most definitely gives them enormous amount of justice, but unfortunately it’s not the same story with the price tag. In comparison with the Louboutin price tag, these Wild Diva Jacoba-01 Espadrille Wedges are not even a quarter of their cost. The design is quite comparable and almost practically identical with the exception of a few minor, unobvious differences. At $26.90, these wedges are a very praiseworthy look-a-like.
