Real vs. Steal – Stuart Weitzman 50/50 Boots

by Vanessa on November 14, 2011

UPDATE: This post has been updated on November 14, 2011. Scroll down to see the new add.

I’m not sure why they call these boots 50/50, when they’re 100% awesome, but I’ll take them! Stuart Weitzman has been a household name in evening shoes for a very long time. Many people don’t know that the collection features far more than glitz and glamour for the feet. There’s everyday booties, bags and wedges to name a few. In my fashionable opinion, each year the shoes get better and better looking, but the amazing comfort stays the same. So it’s no surprise that many of Hollywood’s leading ladies are consistently seen in Stuart Weitzman shoes on and off the red carpet. These below photos are sure to get you less sad about leaving summer behind.

Promiscuous “Karin” Boots

Many fashion loving ladies have told me that they have trouble getting slim fitting boots over their athletic calves, often forcing them into ankle boots. While I love the way ankle boots look, diversity is important in a wardrobe. Luckily, these fabulous Karin boots by Promiscuous will solve that problem and get taller boots onto all feet this year!

At first glance, I wasn’t head over heels for these Christian Louboutin shoes; they were just sort of there, but then I scanned my wardrobe in my head (I’m like the human version of Cher Horowitz’s closet computer – D’uh, Clueless!) and I realized they could blend in seamlessly with so many different outfits and allow them to stand out on their own while still being stylish.

Now while I realize dropping over $500 on an item that I just described as being perfect to “blend” would be considered a bit extreme to some, these look-a-likes by Vaneli will get the job done just as well and not put quite the same dent in your budget. If you’re still not understanding what exactly the job is, consider dresses and outfits that are vibrant on their own or have bold accessories taking the focus… then you go for shoes that blend. Available in natural cork or black patent.
