Handbag Heaven “Lilly” Mini Shoulder Bag

The brighter colors seem to be more fitting with this “Lilly” Mini Shoulder Bag by Handbag Heaven. The bow strap is so cute and youthful without being child-like in any way. This mini bag seems to perfect for summer and the candy colors coincide perfectly with the petite silhouette. There are several minor differences between this look-a-like and the designer version above, but they really aren’t too noticeable. On a positive note, this pouch is on sale for $42.46!

One of the most distinctive shoe styles of 2011 have been Giuseppe Zanotti‘s extreme wedge styles for me. I’ve loved them the second I saw them online. They do scare me a lil’ bit with their crazy 6 inch heel, but I still want them in my closet so badly. Not convinced yet? Monsieur Christian Louboutin transports us back into the 70′s with his groovy “Super Dombasle” cork platforms. Well, describing these just as platforms might be a slight understatement. SUPER MEGA BADASS PLATFORMS would be more fitting, I guess. I don’t know whether I would be daring enough to rock these 6 inchers, but I sure love the bright turquoise suede on these and cork shoes are ideal spring/summer shoes.

To no one’s surprise Steve Madden has copied Louboutin’s mega platforms, but tamed them a little by reducing the platform by 1.25 inches which I actually prefer because it makes them so much more wearable. If you’re not into brights, these beauties also come in blue or black floral print.

Real vs. Steal – B Brian Atwood Fontanne Suede Colorblock Platform Pumps

I absolutely adore the entire B Brian Atwood collection for several reasons. I appreciate how the collection is true to the label yet is more of an affordable version, without straying from Brian Atwood’s vision. Though I may not be able to purchase this shoe until it hits the sale rack, if it ever does, I cannot fail to express my obsession with it. The colorblocking adds a pop of color juxtaposing a simple pump with a not-so-simple pattern. However, if you don’t want to wait until the next sale, which may never exist in fact, check out the alternative below.

Featured on a previous post, these Steve Madden pumps are making their reappearance except in colorblocking form. The shape is very reminiscent of these Giuseppe Zanotti heels, but the colorblocking is very B Brian Atwood. To mimic the B Brian Atwood look the ankle strap is removable, so you can mix and match the different style this pump boasts. The amalgam of design and inspiration behind this shoe creates an eclectic feel that will last long both regarding wearability and trends.
