One of the most distinctive shoe styles of 2011 have been Giuseppe Zanotti‘s extreme wedge styles for me. I’ve loved them the second I saw them online. They do scare me a lil’ bit with their crazy 6 inch heel, but I still want them in my closet so badly. Not convinced yet? Well, the season for open footwear such as these turquoise suede Prada sandals is pretty much over, but I couldn’t help but show these to you because I really love these little darlings. Love the color, the delicate suede, the cut-outs, the rounded heel. They’re just absolutely lovely and still rockable if you don’t mind wearing tights with open sandals.

Christian Louboutin‘s “Bibi” pump is one of my favorite Loubies from the classic shoe styles department. I looooove the extreme arch and also that it has this straight column-like chunky heel; I just dig that on shoes, not sure why, but I love this (plus, it makes a high heel that much more stable/comfortable because the weight doesn’t pressure on a pinpoint-sized stiletto heel). That makes yet another addition to my never ending list of shoe obsessions.

Rough Justice “Kara” Platform Pumps

Rough Justice is a pretty new footwear brand and for their first collection they have decided to take some inspiration from the master of the red soled heels because these “Kara” platforms are obvious “Bibi” wannabes. Tood bad they’ve messed up the arch, otherwise it would’ve been a super great Louboutin alternative (though a pretty steep one at $200+). The pumps are available in black, turquoise, fuchsia, rust & stone suede.
