This one’s an oldie but goodie. Back in February 2008 Carrie Underwood attended the Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Party looking adorable in a monochrome tiered strapless chiffon dress by Marchesa. The black bodice had a cute black bow attached and Carrie perfectly accessorized her glamourous ensemble with matching bling and black satin YSL sandals.

When I saw this prom-like dress by Allen Schwartz I was instantly reminded of Carrie’s red carpet look above. While Carrie’s frock goes in the thousands you can have this Marchesa inspired look-a-like for just under $400 (or around $200 if you order at Bloomie’s). If you have a formal event to attend, this dress would certainly make you stand out.

Leighton looked absolutely amazing and until today this look belongs in my top 3 of all her Gossip Girl outfits. Paris Hilton came second and British soap star Emma Rigby has worn this beautiful dress as well.

I just stumbled upon your site and LOVE IT! I was wondering if in your research you ever came across a knockoff version of the Christian Louboutin Striped Satin d’Orsay sandal in blue. I would love to have this shoe to wear for my wedding but since I am paying for said wedding I can’t afford to drop a grand on shoes alone.

Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Armadillo D’Orsay Pumps

I am sorry to say that I failed to find a knockoff in the desired color (see UPDATE #1 below), but I certainly DID stumble upon a few Armadillo knockoffs which you can find listed below. You could go for one of these, blow your budget and buy the originals or opt for a total different wedding shoe (some Manolo Blahnik Sedaraby knockoffs perhaps?)

I accidentally found these Louboutin knockoffs a few weeks ago when I wrote about other knockoffs. These pumps by J. Loren are probably your best bet. They are almost identical with the Louboutins and their price ($65.98 down from $109) is not so bad either.
