Shoe of the Day – Topshop APRIL Nubuck Chelsea Boots

Alright, I know I already proclaimed my love for a pair of Topshop Chelsea boots just recently, but now that I’ve seen APRIL I know what true (shoe) love is. And yes, it has been decided that these are going to be my next shoe purchase. Yay! But since I already blew my shopping budget this month, I’m going to have to wait until next month’s payday before I can bring them home. The black version it will be because I have rather short legs and wear a lot of black tights during the colder seasons, so it’s the most practical choice for me. The cognac colored pair however is almost just as heavenly. Wish I could buy them both!

Menswear is ultimately my favorite trend, but the femininity of these Chloé wedges is irresistible. Though they may have a feminine touch, you can wear them in a multitude of ways including menswear aesthetic. The bow tie adds just the right amount of dynamism between it and the design, without distracting from the simplistic beauty of the shoe. This would be a very fashion-worthy splurge if they were in my budget. As I am not able to invest in Chloé wedges, the steal below is a splendid alternative.

Steve Madden earns the role of a hero when it comes to imitating designs from very lavish labels, hence Chloé. First off, I have to mention my affinity for these shoes because I simply cannot find a single flaw about them. The wedge height is stellar, and so is every other detail! They are lacking the bow detail, but the buckle makes a wonderful substitute and really adds a casual element. So I’m a little obsessed with this woven leather wedge by Givenchy. I think it’ll be a great look to have in your wardrobe and it will go with just about anything! I really like the rust color of this MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge. Such a summery color and really fun to wear. Especially if you want that pop of color!
