Christian Louboutin is the mastermind behind the designer footwear aesthetic. Often considered to be one of the most well known designers, his designs are truly never lackluster and always exude luxury. Capturing our attention a few months ago were the Pigalle Plato Pumps, and now these Pigalle 120 Patent-Leather Pumps do just the same. This papaya-pink color featured below is simply amazing with the addition of a pointed toe. Before, I never really appreciated any pointy toe shoes, however these pumps have sincerely changed my perspective. Priced at $625, I, for one will not be purchasing these any time soon. Conversely, take a look at more affordable versions of these pumps below!

Aldo “Stessy” Neon Stiletto Pumps

Update (04/22/2016): Spotted these neon pink Aldo pumps and thought they’d be a great alternative if you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative to the neon colored Louboutin Pigalles above. The silhouette of these stiletto pumps is more spot-on to Louboutin’s “So Kate“, but I think it also serves well as a dupe for the Pigalle. Also available in various other colors and uppers.

Alloy “Molly” Heels

Our most affordable steal, priced at $14.99 (sale price!), are these Alloy “Molly” heels. Simply put, I love this color! With summer shortly approaching, I have been craving bright colors in my wardrobe and this shoe is the perfect way to incorporate them. These also come in neon yellow for even more vividness. Truly an eye capturing shoe, one can make quite a statement in these heels.

Devious Sexy-20 Stiletto Pumps

Out of all the featured look-a-likes, this one by Devious appears to be the most significant because it very closely resembles the Louboutins. The patent shine, color, and super elongated heel are perfectly intact and maintain that Louboutin-esque look. With this type of shoe, it’s very difficult to go wrong especially when it radiates such a bold energy. Ultimately, these can be worn as a transition to summer and even in the winter for a nice pop of color.

Topshop “GAME” Pointed Court Shoes

Topshop is definitely one of my favorite stores due to their eclectic wardrobe varieties. Not to mention, these “Game” Pointed Court Shoes are absolutely beautiful. Though these are a bit pricier than the other alternatives above, I believe that they will become a permanent staple in one’s closet. They complement any outfit, and provide that extra vitality to spice up a dull look. I would love to pair them with perfectly tailored pants, but the wardrobe possibilities are simply superfluous.

Christian Louboutin makes some of the finest shoes in the world. Louboutins are a celebrity’s staple buys and no red carpet would be complete without at least one pair of the red-soled high heels. Louboutin’s “Pigalle” pump is timeless with its classic and sleek design. It’s probably Louboutin’s bestselling and most famous shoe ever. Not to mention expensive.

Ooooh, hello, my lovelies! – You really have to leave it to Jimmy Choo for creating the most lustworthy high heels with that extra oomph. These have roughly the same shape as Choo’s “Greta” sandals which I love just as much. On these I especially love the sparkling faceted crystals which totally remind me of obsidian (= a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock). So hot and sexy, right? You know what’s absolutely not hot though? The whopping price tag of $1.550! Le sigh!

Vince Camuto “Magel” Stud-Embellished Crisscross Sandals

Now I know these high heel sandals by Vince Camuto are not an identical match for Jimmy Choo’s “Jade” heels, but you can obviously tell that these are highly inspired by them. The VC sandals have crisscross straps and the heel is also one inch shorter, but the black faceted crystals? Jackpot! And since the crystals are the most prominent feature about the Choos, I think the Vince Camutos here would be a great Choo substitute for a whole lot less money (did I mention these are currently on sale for only $62.99? No? Well, you’re welcome!). Also available in brown multi.

One for the money, two for the show…” – Let’s just get right down to it; these platform sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti are simply divine. And while this may not be the pair The King sang about in homage to his favorite “blue suede shoes“, they as may as well be since they are just as big of a signature item as the legendary ones. But major shoe statements aside, think about how often will you wear these before you spend a small fortune. Unless your entire wardrobe palette works with them, you may want to consider a less expensive option like the ones we found below.

ShoeMint “Stella” Caged Platform Sandals

The look-for-less option by ShoeMint, while almost identical in style, doesn’t seem to be available in the original phosphorescent blue shade, but they certainly have exactly the same cool futuristic cutout design and high-end designer look. They are also just as flattering as the original. Play it safe and wear them with neutrals like Khloe Kardashian for just a pop of color, or be a little more daring and match them to a printed cocktail dress similar to Tamara Ecclestone’s outfit. Or, take it a different route all together and wear them with a full tulle skirt and tank for a modern and flirty take on the classic ballerina.

Wild Rose Gaira-02 Two Tone Cut Out Heels

However, if the color was what really drew you to the original pair, this option by Wild Rose is as close a match as you can get for the price. They may not be as sturdy as the others, but from far away they will definitely do the trick. Wear this pretty teal shade with some navy cropped pants and a white blouse for an instant update, or better yet, keep them in your work bag for a quick change before happy hour. Also check out the other available color combinations including ruby red and tangerine, all made with vegan leather!

Shoe Republic “Session” Two Tone Platform Sandals

Shoe Republic has yet another great pair, for an incredibly good price. They have the same high-end style and available in yet more colors in case you haven’t been able to find the ones you love. This burnt orange looks beautiful with dark denim; white or camel with brown accessories, just think how cute they’ll look with your tan trench coat! Like the pair above, these are also made with animal-friendly materials and the heel is just a fraction shorter (which could make them a tad more comfortable, too). Other color combinations available are black/gray and tan/orange.
