Just because you can’t wear your coziest sweats or most broken in denim to the office does not mean you can’t be comfortable and equally as cute. All of our 6 featured dresses have universally flattering waistlines and whether you choose a color (loving the bright blue) or basic black, you’ll look anything but basic.
If you’re unsure about going sleeveless, remember the unwritten rule (unless of course it actually is written somewhere and states otherwise): If a female supervisor is going tasefully sleeveless then you can confidently take the plunge, too. The prices range from $98 to $128 and that’s great because not only will you get work wear out of them for years to come, but you can also add some accessories and wear them on the weekends to social functions.

What I love about Eva Longoria is that she’s not one to shy away from color. Also because she can make a simple $150 frock look absolutely luxe. Yes, believe it, this hot pink sheath dress costs less than $150! Eva mastered the uptown chic to perfection and usually sticks with trusted red carpet designers for public events, that’s why I never expected her to wear such accesible fashion. Can’t say I don’t love it though!

I love Black Halo dresses (who doesn’t?). They are always so elegant, so chic and timeless – great investment pieces! Unfortunately not everyone can invest $370 in a dress because, you know, they have to pay rent and all that other boring stuff. However, even at these outrageous prices Black Halo creations sell like hot cakes.

Celebrities Love Black Halo
Black Halo has always been very popular among celebrities, but this ruffled pencil dress was a must-have. I seriously lost count on how many celebrities have already been spotted in this dress. Taraji P. Henson was the first to sport one in black, then came Debra Messing and from then on all the rest (Lisa Rinna, Aubrey O’Day and Britney Spears) followed.

If you like Black Halo’s sheath dress, but can’t spend $300+ on a dress, try this knockoff version by ChicStar. It might not be as delicate as the original, but you can’t beat the price of $34.95 (1/10!). The Black Halo knockoff dress comes in either blue or black and would make a great wear-to-work dress, don’t you think?.
