Speaking of a super popular shoe, it seems that these Jimmy Choo Greta Platform Sandals have made quite the statement among celebs. I love everything that this shoe has to offer, especially the metallic hue and the towering heel. I can’t even decide who wore these platform sandals best; everyone looks so fashionable and posh. Who do you think wore Jimmy Choo best? Surprisingly though… these glamorous platforms are not sold out yet so if you want to, or have $1.095 then these would make an amazing splurge. Otherwise, scroll down to see the fabulous steal below.

Sergio Zelcer “Osima” Platform Sandals
Thanks to Sergio Zelcer, the “Osima” Platform Sandals practically dupe the Jimmy Choo design above. These shoes definitely fit into the category of “glamour”, and are very elegant for a special event. Though I love the solid tones, the tie dye options add a certain zest and have more of a casual look. Available in gold, silver, and orange and blue tie dye.

We’re all used to seeing quilted handbags everywhere thanks to Chanel, but how often have you seen someone wearing a quilted shoe? Brian Atwood makes all your quilted shoe fantasies come true. His “Maniac” pumps are absolutely lustworthy. Classic but with a twist. Also: a) pricey and b) long sold out. Bummer!

Sergio Zelcer “Cucu” Platform Pumps
It’s obvious that these quilted pumps by Sergio Zelcer are Brian Atwood wannabes. And even though they’re world’s apart in terms of look & quality, overall I’d still say they’re a great alternative if you’re looking for quilted shoes on a budget. Available in black or fuchsia patent.

Are you feeling the power of the wedge this season? I know I am. Suddenly, I am sick for a Tick, or any super-high, wild wedge—and thank the shoe gods, there are puh-lenty around to be had. While this pair from Donna Karan is a little more demure, they are glorious, aren’t they? Just the right amount of height-boosting chunkiness and not-quite-so-sweet studification. Meow.

On May 7, 2010, we named these Sergio Zelcer wedges Heel of the Day. Little did we know then that they are actually a fab alternative to DK’s higher-priced Studded Wedge Sandals. Now that I’m really looking at them, I think they might be the most versatile pair I’ve seen for summer. They’ll take you to a summer BBQ in a sundress, to the office with a cotton skirt suit, and to the mall in cutoffs and a blousy tank. So what are you waiting for? It’s June already. Get your summer on, and have a “Delicious” one! Available in black, bone & brown.

Ever seen a shoe being described as rock ‘n roll meets summer? The combination does sound a bit odd, but I think this perfectly sums up these lovely studded wedges by Sergio Zelcer. The gold studs on the platform will play up your inner rockstar while the knotted front and the wedge make these beauties ideal candidates for wearing in the summer. Don’t think black shoes will work with your summer wardrobe? They also come in bone and buttery brown as well.
