Senso

UPDATE: This post has been updated on August 27, 2011. Scroll down to see the new add.

Ever wanted to see the Acne Atacomas of 2010? Well, ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to the “Admire” strap wedge ankle boots? While these don’t tickle my fancy I’ve seen a couple of style bloggers crying out loud for these, crashing their credit cards just so they can bring these babies home (e.g., Sandra from 5 inch and up). Chunky wedge boots; they’re still going strong for Fall 2010 as you can see.

UPDATE (08/27/2011): German and Scandinavian Acne Admire lovers rejoice! Just came across this neat and pretty much spot-on knockoff by Nelly Shoes. Available in black or beige faux leather.

Senso “Neve” Wedge Booties

It hasn’t been too long since I wrote my first post on Senso footwear where I proclaimed my love for the Australian shoe brand. And with this Acne look-a-like here they manage to keep my expectations high for their line. Certainly not a cheap thrill at just below $200, but if you can’t see yourself laying down almost $700 for the real thing, these are a great alternative. Available in black or bronze metallic. Don’t wait too long though, the pre-order is already starting to sell out of popular sizes.

by Irina on April 12, 2011

I’m so infatuated with the leopard print trend, it’s getting ridiculous. This is the third time I am writing about leopard print shoes, but all these great styles keep coming and coming and I would be a bad, bad fashion blogger not to let you know about them. So here you have it: a new batch of gorgeous leopard shoes. Let me know what you think. Have you already bought some leopard shoes or do you rather skip this wild trend?

A few weeks ago while browsing one of my favorite shoe shopping sites, Solestruck, I happened to stumble upon a brand I haven’t heard of yet. Senso. Looking at their shoes I was wondering why because I, the self-proclaimed shoe aficionado, thought I knew about all the kickass shoe brands by now. Turned out I didn’t. At that time all the Senso styles were sold out, so I signed up to be notified when they’ll become available again and well, today is the lucky day.

Solestruck is the only online retailer to carry the Australian brand right now. They have a bunch of scorching hot heels which are currently on pre-order (shoes will ship on July 19, 2010) and all of them are expected to sell out very QUICKLY again. Most styles are priced somewhere between $150 to $180 which certainly isn’t dirt cheap, but considering their hotness I’d say totally worth the splurge. Oh how I wish I hadn’t bought so many shoes this month so I could indulge in a pair of my own Sensos. If you have some disposable income left to spend on shoes, this would be my Shopping Tip of the Month!
