Every season that It handbag hits the market, making every head turn with its one-of-a-kind appearance. For instance, currently trending is the Reed Krakoff Boxer Leather Tote with its interesting “boxy” look, surprisingly not overwhelming to the eye. On the contrary, the mellow blend of beige, off-white, and yellow creates a modern yet classic vibe. Whether $1.090 is a justifiable amount to pay, however, is another discussion. ALDO “Lakatos” Satchel

On the topic of handbags, I love this ALDO satchel. Signaling a similar vibe as its designer counterpart, I can say that this would be a handbag to purchase. I absolutely love the colors, which perfectly fit in with any wardrobe. In addition to the gleaming look, this satchel is priced at an affordable $55! Also, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the less boxy shape and more defined structure hints a big of Hermès. What do you think?

Real vs. Steal – Chloé Elsie Medium Satchel

This structured satchel handbag by Chloé struck my eye as soon as I saw it. It’s a combination of dark leather with a feminine and ladylike shape. Truly a staple, it can be paired with anything whether one is simply strutting down the streets or heading out to a fancy evening occasion. One of my favorite aspects of this satchel is the gold metal clasp, due to its simple yet beautiful ornamentation. The price tag, however, is certainly questionable and generally unaffordable for the everyday woman. Nevertheless, the look-a-like may steal you away!

Real vs. Steal – Mulberry Oversized Alexa Leather Bag

A good friend of mine recently bought a Mulberry Bayswater (a gift to herself on her birthday) and for a week straight everyone oohed and ahhed over it at the office. It is a spectacular bag, to be sure, but I think this new Mulberry takes the cake: the Alexa – a slouchier, more casual version of the Bayswater named after British style export Alexa Chung who is a true devotee of the Mulberry brand. If you haven’t heard tell of this bag yet, you will. Speculated to be the “It” bag of the moment, the Alexa sold out instantaneously on NET-A-PORTER after being added last week. Restocks are supposed to follow soon, but even still, this beautiful creation is way out of my sad little budget.
