Looking for that perfect airy pump for the spring that is so rapidly approaching? Have you seen the Miu Miu Basket Pumps? They’re sort of like Miu Miu‘s elevated, elegant take on the jelly. Don’t let that basket-weave fool you, though, that reinforced toe and super high heel means these are sophisticated enough to wear during an evening out. Like many of Miu Miu’s pumps, sadly, these are already totally sold out.

P.S.: Available in cream at Saks.

Rosegold “Marni” Pumps
Rosegold has done it again! They are quickly becoming my favorite knockoff brand because… well… just look at their “Marni” pumps. They are virtually identical to the Miu Miu Basket Pumps but at a much nicer price point. And truthfully, do you really want to throw down almost $600 for what are, essentially, glorified jellies? Didn’t think so. Available in black, cream and beige.

Hmmm. I have a confession: these Elizabeth and James Valley Soft Cuff Booties are not really my cup of tea. But I’m sure there are ladies out there, who like JLo, would love nothing more than to own a pair. While they are not overly pricey, unfortunately, they are totally sold out. I’m sure those photos of Jennifer Lopez in them had nothing to do with that…

If you’re on the hunt for a supple grey suede bootie like the Elizabeth and James version, we’ve spotted a pair that is very similar, and still very available. These “Sara” Lace-Up Booties by Rosegold have that same lace-up detail and foldover cuff, but at $151.22, they’re less than half the price of J. Lo’s faves.

Aren’t the Giuseppe Zanotti E00271 Rosette Sandals one of the prettiest pairs you’ve ever seen? I just love the soft feminine color, buttery leathery, and ultra-girlie bloom on top. Just lovely, and they’d be all the more lovely if I could manage eight bills to buy them!

Rosegold “Sandy” Sandals
It’s a good thing these “Sandy” Sandals by Rosegold are a different color, otherwise you might have thought you were seeing double. But you are not. Now you get to revel in the fact that we’ve found a dead-ringer for the Giuseppe Zanotti, for a fraction of the price. And honey, you know a rose with a cheaper price definitely smells as sweet. Well this is definitely the season of the wedge. We’ve seen them pop up in countless Spring/Summer shows, in various colors and textiles. I think what makes them so popular is that they’re a versatile shoe: inherently casual but just add leather or a bow and you’ve got yourself one hot date shoe. The Miu Miu Cork and Leather Wedge Sandal embodies this perfectly. A luxe mocha leather and some exquisite details (knots, stitching, leather wrapped around the heel) make this sky-high wedge stand out from the pack.

Rosegold “Casey” Wedges
Rosegold is a company after our own heart. Only recently on our radar, they seem to be dedicated to delivering almost replica-like knockoffs of our favorite shoes. Do you recall the post back in November wherein we featured Rosegold and their Isabel Marant Otway Studded Booties knockoff? Those were excellent but take a look at these. I beg of you to spot a difference between these Casey wedges and the original Miu Miu wedges, above. Besides a slightly lower (read: more manageable) heel, they look virtually identical. At $168 they may not be a total impulse buy, but that’s still a ridiculously good price compared to the originals! Available in black and brown.

Sick of wedges yet? No? Good! Because as I mentioned in a previous post, wedges just seem to be THE shoe of the moment. Perfect for spring, comfortable and retro stylish. Take a look at these T-Strap Cork Wedges by Chloé: I think t-straps are so flattering on the foot and I love the nude color and leather piping. A really timeless shoe, to be sure, but also really expensive.

Rosegold “Cara” Cork Wedges
Man, I am loving me some Rosegold right now. They just keep cranking out the knockoffs, but what makes them so awesome is that their “steal” shoes look great. It’s obvious where Rosegold got their inspiration for the “Cara” from. Nude leather, leather piping, platform – all the details are there to make this shoe an excellent knockoff of the Chloé T-Straps. Wear with a floral summer dress or shorts and a flouncy white blouse.

So you hate looking like one of the crowd. For avant garde shoes, clothing, and accessories, look no further than Elizabeth and James — the quirky, lower-end line launched by wondertwins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. The Cal Wedges below are a great example of the type of shoe you can expect from this label: functional, but kind of like a wearable piece of abstract art.

Rosegold “Shawna” Wedge Booties
Yes, I did write “lower-end” when I referred to the $354 Elizabeth and James wedges above, and technically they are; the Olsens have another line, The Row, which has significantly higher price points. So how lucky are we that Rosegold has its own even lower-end version of the Cal: “Shawna” Wedge Booties. They’re are a great investment for Spring 2010, because they incorporate two trends from the shows in one statement-making sandal: neutrals like beige and drab olive, and the arty wedge. Available in beige and black.

I’ve always admired these buckled Chloé biker boots from afar, but couldn’t help but wonder how normal women are supposed to pull off such mid-calf boots without looking stumpy. There’s no way I could rock these with bare legs as Mischa and Miley below, but I figured with black tights and a pair of black skinnies I could totally make these boots work for me. Too bad they cost $1.175.

I know summer is almost over when I find myself starting to look for shoes to wear in the fall. These studded ankle booties called “Otway” by Isabel Marant have been on my wish list for months now, but as with most of the things on my wish list, they are way out of my budget let alone the fact that they aren’t even out yet.

Rosegold “Halle” Studded Ankle Boots
UPDATE (10/05/2009): Found another Isabel Marant studded boots knockoff by Rosegold.
Look at this knockoff version by Rosegold and try to spot the difference between this one and the Isabel Marant boots. These booties are as close as you can get to the original. They look so similar they even managed to fool the guys at Singer22 who claim Sienna Miller wore the Rosegold knockoffs and not the Isabel Marant booties. Funny, huh? However, a knockoff this great comes at a price: $285. Yup, that’s pretty expensive, but probably still at least a few hundred dollars cheaper than the original. If you have the cash, why not spend it on these awesome knockoffs?

Jeffrey Campbell “Us” Studded Ankle Boots
Kudos to Jeffrey Campbell for always finding the right shoes to knock-off. Someone over there is doing his/her homework. Their “Us” studded booties are obviously a tribute to Isabel Marant’s booties. I just wish the heel would look more like the original. Available in black suede or black leather.

Steve Madden “BLITZI” Ankle Boots
Steve Madden seems to have sniffed a trend here as well and decided to make their own interpretation of the ankle booties. The heel of their booties is higher and brown instead of black, but everything else is pretty much identical. Comes also in brown suede.
