While doing my usual blog tour I discovered this great post by Refinery29 where they gave advice on the perfect outfit for a job interview and I loved the featured look so much I had to give it my own “budget look” spin. The combination of red, white and navy is so refreshing yet the outfit still looks work-appropriate and professional (I opted to include a knee-length skirt though). Especially great for any interviews in the creative department.

One of my latest fashion obsessions are maxi dresses. In the last 2 months I have managed to acquire a total of 5 new ones. Yes, I might have a shopping problem. And as if 5 new dresses weren’t enough I find myself obsessing over these beautiful statement maxi dresses from LuLu*s now. Aren’t they just beautiful? I love the bright colors, the pleating and cut-out sides. And the prices aren’t too either! What a dilemma!

I am so digging Zoe Saldana‘s style. Seriously, Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller and all the likes leave me cold whereas I love keeping up with Zoe’s fashion choices both on and off the red carpet. Just take this casual ensemble for example. I’ve always been huge on stripes and seeing how Zoe paired her super affordable mini dress by EXPRESS with tan accessories and cool Ray-Ban aviators just makes me fall in love with her style yet once again. I’ve grown quite fond of red dresses. So much that I own about 5 of them. There’s no need to shy away from this color and it flatters almost everyone (might be a bit tricky on redheads but not overly so)! Check out Mila Kunis wearing a stunning red Versace frock which she paired with nude patent Jimmy Choos. Sexy yet classy. Exactly how I like my red! What do you think of Mila’s look?
