I wonder how Christian (yes, in my mind, him & I are on first name basis ;-) ) must feel, knowing that a lot of the shoes on the market are direct unabashed, unapologetic copies of his designs? And this bi-color heel is no exception. I’m gonna guess he isn’t feeling too bad because even if you could afford the $695 for this adorable (perfect for the office) ankle-strap, it’s sold out. But don’t fret; as I mentioned above, this heel too was knocked off.

This will probably sound cliche’, but I have only one thing to say to the designing team at Ivanka Trump: “You’re fired!” Seriously, I love a good bargain, but this outright laziness and lack of creativity is starting to really perplex me. I expected more from a celebrity endorsed line (that’s why I love Jessica Simpson’s line). BUT, if you could care less about the lack of originality, then this is a great imitation for you. I’ll just keep my (unsolicited) opinions to myself… this time. ;-)

Real vs. Steal – Miu Miu Bow Mary Jane Pumps

Ms. Miuccia is really making a statement with the flared heel and it seems that this sculpted design is a hit with many celebrities. Similar to a previous post on the Suede Peep-Toe Flared Pumps, these Miu Miu Bow Mary Jane Pumps follow a very similar design with the addition of the bow and the mary jane strap. I actually really like these, mainly because of the feminine yet edgy kind of look. I definitely wouldn’t mind owning a pair, but that would mean living in the dark with no heat or water. In my case, check out a more affordable look-a-like below.

Lori’s “Bamma” Bow Platform Pumps

While the Lori’s “Bamma” Bow Platform Pumps aren’t Miu Miu, if you’re looking for a look-a-like then you have found it. And the best part is that for $99.99 you can have spot-on Miu Miu look. There is only a minor difference, and that would be the added sheen, but nonetheless these are true showstoppers. At a first glance, I wasn’t really into the beige color but it grew on me. Personally, I really like the plum purple; there’s just a certain something to it that I can’t really pinpoint.
