I am absolutely obsessed with these patent leather Christian Louboutin platform pumps. They are so gorgeous! I love everything about them – the shiny patent leather, the pitch black color, the mega high platform and the resulting height enhancement. PERFECTION! I sure am not the only one who fell for these lustworthy pumps as these heels sold like hot cakes when they hit the shelves a few months ago.

ALDO “Destime” Platform Pumps

UPDATE (12/18/2009): I know these ALDO pumps don’t really match the shiny patent version of the Louboutins, but the shape is so similar that I had to feature them. Who doesn’t need a pair of red pumps anyway? J’Adore!

Joan & David “Flipp” Platform Pumps

If you are willing to spend some cash to get a similar style, these patent platform pumps by Joan & David are a great alternative if you can’t afford the real deal. The platform is not as high as on the original, but overall they still look very similar. If you prefer a different color, the pumps are also available in various other colors & finishes.

BCBGeneration “Tinas” Platform Pumps

If your shopping budget does not allow for a pricey shoe splurge, you might want to try these Louboutin inspired platform pumps by BCBGeneration instead. They cost $60 only which makes them 2/3 cheaper than the above mentioned knockoff and you’ll save more than $700 compared to the real Louboutin pumps. It’s not a perfect match and the platform is even more watered down than on the first pair, but overall they are still a great option if you are lusting for the Louboutin look 4 less.

Though I’m not an enthusiast of satin coated shoes, there is something unique about the Christian Louboutin “Greissimo” Knotted Satin Platform Pumps. The more I looked at some of my favorite celebrities wearing them, the more inclined I was to like them. Maybe it’s the element of the Louboutin name or rather the simplicity of the design. Even for those who find these alluring pumps very praiseworthy, the price and retailer are unknown. On that note, we have a steal that won’t break your wallet.

Luichiny “Sure Thing” Satin Peep-toe Pumps

I really like the magenta color of these Luichiny “Sure Thing” Satin Peep-toe Pumps. Available in an array of colors, I think that these shoes will make a great addition to one’s wardrobe. There are a lot of elements to play around with, and the wide spectrum of hues makes it that much easier to incorporate a touch of color. Although these pumps are bold, I appreciate that they can also be dressed down for a more low-key look. Plus, these are priced under $100.

If I had to choose my favorite Louboutin of 2009 I think the “Nitoinimoi” bandage ankle bootie below would definitely be up for consideration. There are not enough words to describe how much I love these. However, there is also not enough cash in my wallet to buy these as well.

Anne Michelle Addiction 55 Buckled Booties

Once again Anne Michelle comes to the rescue! Their “Nitoinimoi” knockoff is almost a 1:1 copy of the real deal. The only differences are the missing red sole and the pointed toe which is square on the originals. Everything else from the shape to the bandages and the buckles looks identical. And they’re so inexpensive, too! Only $44. Such a great deal, gotta love LuLu*s.

Boutique 9 “Siaka” Ankle Boots

I know these boots by Boutique 9 are more of an “inspired-by” kind rather than a complete rip-off, but I still think they fit the bill for a great Louboutin alternative. I’m also sort of in love with them even though they are not a steal at $229. Also available in brown.

Now I love it when shoes remind me of other things as well. Like these navy canvas pumps by Charles by Charles David who not only look like cute shoes but mostly remind me of a preppy college blazer. And though I wouldn’t define myself as real life Blair Waldorf, I do find these heels extraordinarily charming with their deep navy canvas upper and the cute brass buttons on the vamp. Also, did I mention they’re on sale (down from $109.95) and come in black, too? Helloooooo, SOLD!

I guess I don’t have to write a lenghty explanation why I’m head-over-heels in love with this platform pump by Pour La Victoire, but I’ll give you a quick list of reasons anyway.

  1. This shoe carries my name! I mean, how could I possibly not love myself turned into a shoe, right? ;)
  2. It’s a great alternative for everyone on the hunt for a budget-friendly YSL Tribtoo pump.
  3. This pump is available in the most colors I’ve ever seen! 19 variations (!). Patent, suede, leather, exotic snakeskin. Your choice. Just as the color. Do you prefer the classic black, neutral or grey? Or do you like your shoes in funky colors like hot red patent? My personal favorite of the bunch? The aqua version. LOVE³.
