Hi! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our weekly newsletter. You can also follow us on Twitter or join us on Facebook to never miss a post again. Thanks for stopping by!
Running this blog involves spending a lot of time shoe browsing which is something I thoroughly LOVE to do since my heart is that of a true shoe addict. And since I see hundreds of new shoes daily with a few of them being delicately beautiful and exceptionally amazing I thought it’d be a waste if I don’t share my precious little finds with you, our readers. So, from today on you’ll find this new daily feature showcasing the best shoes you’ll ever find online. I promise I’ll try my best to stay under $150.
And we start with a BANG! I’m like a moth to the flame when it comes to colorful shoes. I know many people are hesitant to buy shoes in bright, loud colors and deem them impractical since they don’t match with everything like your standard black, beige and brown, but I’ll choose a yellow pump over a boring black shoe ANYTIME! And these strappy ALDO sandals are as gorgeous as it can get. The shape looks very Dior-esque and I just love the exotic snakeskin texture and the subtle platform. But those colors are where it’s really at! They’re the best thing about these heels. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Now if you please excuse me – I’m off to order a pair in each color.

It takes a lot these days to get me excited over a knockoff, but today was one of those days. Finding a budget-friendly Alexander McQueen look-a-like is ALWAYS a happy day in my book. McQueen is a brilliant talent and I’ve been in love with these heart-shaped peep-toes for what feels like forever now. But never was I lucky enough to find anything similar looking and I’ve given up hope to do so a long time ago. It was just in time that I stumbled upon a great pair of McQueen knockoffs that would make any Valentine’s Day outfit pop!

Frederick’s Heart Peep-Toe Patent Pumps
I discovered these McQueen look-a-likes by Frederick’s through the fab blog The Look 4 Less and thought these pumps were too good not to share. They look almost identical and come in three gorgeous colors and the best thing – they’re only $39! Yup! No joke, ladies. I guess this is what it feels like being in heaven… in shoe heaven that is. You could compliment the cuteness of these pumps with a romantic floral dress -OR- take the edgy route à la Taylor and don them with a micro LBD and black sheer tights. Just make sure not to pass up on these. Get your pair before it’s too late!

Who would’ve known 10 years ago that the Olsen twins would once become a serious force in the fashion industry? I didn’t. But over time I’ve learned to love their contemporary line Elizabeth and James (named after their 2 other siblings). With shoes like the bubblegum pink platforms pumps below it really isn’t hard to fall in love. These darlings have everything I love about shoes. They are bold, sky-high and radiate a subtle sexiness despite the cute sorbet color. I’d rock them with edgy accessories and black liquid leggings to avoid cuteness overkill and bring in some contrast to the look.

Lumiani “Holly” Platform Pumps
While these suede platform heels by Lumiani are more tamed than their designer counterpart they still serve as a great alternative if you don’t want to shell out $350 on pink pumps. Not a fan of pink? They also come in black, brown and purple suede.

These over-the-top sky-high platform heels were part of Giambattista Valli‘s Spring 2008 collection and even though Spring 2008 is like a million years ago in the fashion universe I still can’t get over them. In fact, they were one of my first shoe obsessions ever. One of the things that got me interested in fashion in the first place – beyond the ocassional shopping spree in the mall or a random page flip through Vogue. Some say these heels look hooker-ish, to me – they are perfect. The embodiment of art and fashion with a hint of craziness.

Shiekh "Persia-01" Platform Heels
What I love about these platform heels by Shiekh is that they’ve kept the extreme proportions of the original Vallis and didn’t tone it down to make them more appealing to the masses. Yes, the platform isn’t quite as high, but that’s barely noticeable. So gorgeous, affordable & available in white/pink (pictured), black/pink, beige/yellow and grey/black.
