Paris Hilton

Camilla Skovgaard has become quite the shooting star in my top list of favorite shoe designers. She’s just freaklingly talented and I find myself being in love with almost every single pair of her shoes. Let me give you an example: When she first brought out a collection where most of the styles had a jagged sole (something that has become somewhat of a trademark of Skovgaard now), I was not exactly pleased. I didn’t like it, it looked too utilirian, too contradictory. However, now I’m LOVING them. I don’t know why my mind changed overnight, but it did and Ms. Skovgaard is the one to blame.

Look who was impressed by Skovgaard as well? Paris Hilton‘s version of the designer heels isn’t spot-on, but there are still a bunch of similarities between both. I wish they’d come with the jagged sole, but you can’t have it all with knockoffs. Available in nude, black and pewter.

Leopard is back in a big way for fall and I’m liking it. These Betsey Johnson Leopard Print Pumps bring the designer’s signature wild, but girly aesthetic. They’re the perfect shoes for a girls’ night out. Memorable on their own, they shouldn’t be paired with anything else standout.

Paris Hilton “Destiny” Bow Pumps

HOT DEAL: Use coupon code “INTHEIRCLOSET” to get 15% OFF your order!

Paris Hilton‘s “Destiny” Bow Pumps pack the same girly punch for under a hundred bucks. I actually prefer their slightly higher platform and exaggerated bow. Say what you will about Paris, but you cannot deny that the fact that the girl can make a cute shoe (or at least lend her name to one).

I have been in love with these Leather and Perspex Sandals by Michael Kors (RRP: $689) ever since I spotted them. Truth be told, I have quite a love affair going with several pairs in his lower-priced lines, MICHAEL and KORS. Unfortunately, this pair isn’t in any of the lower-priced collections, and there isn’t $689 in my pocket for them either. Boo.

Paris Hilton “Addiction” Platform Sandals

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but the “Addiction” Platform Sandals by Paris Hilton run a close second to the Kors pair. The platform is definitely a diversion from the original look, but somehow, this pair works. I hate myself for writing that, I really do. Available in black and pewter.

As cage-style shoes gracefully make their exit from our must-haves, these shoes by Cesare Paciotti update the look and earn their place on our up-to-date feet. The ankle detailing is less cage and more web. They’re sexy (very sexy), stylish and who needs jewelry with a statement piece like these?

Paris Hilton “Trix” Sandals

UPDATE (06/23/2010): Paris Hilton‘s design team comes up with a near-copy of the Cesare Paciotti. Her “Trix” sandals only lack the little crystal stones. Otherwise they’re practically identical. Available in pewter, black or gold.

Kelsi Dagger “Brandi” Embellished Sandals

Kelsi Dagger gives you the opportunity to wrap your ankles in all the prettiness (yes, even something described as a web can be stunning!) without all the payout. At only $112 they get the job done and leave some extra for a new dress.
