It seems that every celebrity at one point or another is seen flaunting around in glamorous Louboutins. Whether it’s the sophisticated high heel or a classic flat, Christian Louboutin has become a staple in the closets of the A-listers. The “Pigalle Plato” Platform Pumps are no different as the design is impeccably exhibited with versatility, in an uptown or downtown manner. The platform adds further height to the elevated stature of the shoe contributing to the elegance. Unfortunately, I don’t have $775 to spend on these beautiful shoes, but the alternative below is quite dazzling.

Colorblocking has been trending for the past few seasons, and while mainly neon and bright colors have been featured for Spring, Giuseppe Zanotti brings us a toned down and more classical version in a shoe. Though these E10180 Two-Tone Ankle Strap Sandals don’t exactly coincide with the colorblocking concept, the idea of incorporating two tones, hence the beige and black, is there. A simple summertime wedge is sometimes all a girl needs to be happy. Now what’s shocking is that this simple wedge is by Christian Louboutin – the Liberace of shoemakers! No crazy 7 inch wedge. No crazy accouterments. Just a nice pinkish/mauve patent leather shoe. If only one could “simply” find $595 to pay for this much simplicity. But oh well, how do the French say – c’est la vie!

Currently trending is this Metal to the Petal Flap Pouchette by none other than the cross-body handbag specialist Marc by Marc Jacobs. It’s everything that I could possibly desire in a handbag; featuring gold embellishments and being the perfect size whether I’m leaving out the door or preparing for a grander event. Unfortunately, the price of $248 is simply too expensive for me, thus we have a great alternative which is both chic and budget-friendly.

ASOS has always been one of my favorite stores because I can always find what I need for a lesser price and the clothing is still very stylish. Confirming that theory is this Bird Across Body Bag. Though it’s slightly different than the Marc by Marc Jacobs cross-body bag above, it still features similar ornamentation like the bird appliqué and gold hued embellishments. Besides the more affordable price of $35.81, it is available in mint green and lilac.
