Every year, weeks before the holidays I start dreaming up my perfect festive holiday outfit. I always try to incorporate some red, green and gold into it so I would look like I am part of the christmas tree decor. This year, I think I will go with an emerald green dress, gold accessories and red shoes. These red Giuseppe Zanotti cork platform pumps below would make the perfect shoes for my holiday outfit, but even though they’re on sale (original retail price $688) they’re still too pricey for me.

If you’re trying to save some cash for the holidays, but don’t want to cut back on your style, try these red Nine West platform pumps instead. Yes, they replaced the shiny red patent leather with a basketweave textured upper, but everything else (the straps, shape and cork platform) is pretty much the same as on the real deal. They’re also so much cheaper and come in either red, black or blue.

Well, as you may or may not know I am happily addicted to shoes and one of my fave shoe designers is mastermind Giuseppe Zanotti whose designs never fail to amaze me. Half of my wish list consists of his creations and these nautical inspired cork platform sandals were on top of this list for at least half a year. They originally retailed for $695, but even though they’re on sale now they are a) not my size and b) still too expensive for me.

Now look at these babies by Nine West! Think you see double? No, you don’t. Nine West’s “Cawley” Sandals are an almost identical copy of the above shown Giuseppe Zanotti patriotic sandals. I was so excited when I spotted these amazing, budget-friendly alternative. They come so close to the originals it’s almost illegal.

If you are looking for the same style without the hefty price tag, these t-strap peep-toes by Nine West are a great alternative if you want Louboutin 4 less. The heel on these is not as high and they don’t have the double platform, but the overall look of these shoes is almost identical compared to the real deal. They retail for $89 which is quite affordable and come in a multitude of colors including black, brown and purple suede as well as black and brown leather.

These sandals by Sergio Rossi are certainly chic and all, but to be honest, I wouldn’t shell out $670 for them even if I had that kind of shopping budget. Would you? If for some reason however I would stumble upon a great inspired-by pair, then why not?

If you’re like me and cringe at the thought of spending so much on a pair of shoes, Nine West has a great alternative. Their Sergio Rossi knockoffs are spot-on and the only noticeable difference is the heel which is straight on the Nine West sandals. They retail for budget-friendly $68.95 and also come in dark red & dark blue.

BCBGeneration “Levona” Sandals
If you’re willing to spend a few extra bucks to get a little closer to the Sergio Rossi sandals, these zip sandals by BCBGeneration are also a great look 4 less alternative which will cost you less than 1/7 of the originals price. However, Zappos has only very limited stock on these, so you better be quick to order.

I’ve always loved Jimmy Choos. He makes constantly amazing shoes and his creations look great on almost every woman’s feet. These strappy snakeskin sandals would make great high heels for summer dresses.
