My personal style includes a mixture of classic designer pieces and inexpensive trendy items. When I saw this striped blazer by Tory Burch (RRP: $325), I knew there was a designer space for it in my closet. The simple shape is given a new look with nautical stripes. I’m already running imaginary outfits through my head!

If you want to add a little stripes into your wardrobe, but don’t want to drop a whole load of your hard earned money, then this Spiegel blazer is an excellent option. The shape and stripes get the job done. If you still have your mind set on gold nautical buttons, only a few dollars and a needle and thread will do the trick.

Fine, I’ll just come out and say it: I’m totally addicted to all things nautical! Stripes, anchors, the combination of red, white and blue – I’m naturally attracted to all these things. So while doing my daily new arrivals research I had this idea of creating a Budget Look with a nautical theme. Do you like it?

I might have mentioned once or twice how much of a sucker I am for all things striped and nautical inspired? And this dress by bebe is luckily both. So yeah, consider me obsessed. Sure, you’d have to rock your highest heels to balance out the midi-length of the dress and make it work for you and not against you, but the extra effort will pay off as you will look infinitely stylish and feel like a Grande Dame headed for her next Caribbean cruise.

Can I just say one more time how much I adore nautical inspired style? If it’s red, white and blue or has blue/navy stripes on it, I’m already loving it. That’s why I LOVED Eva Longoria‘s blue striped top and crisp white shorts which she accessorized with sky-high nude patent platforms and her tanned & toned killer legs. Of course, I instantly had to recreate this cute look on a more budget-friendly level. Check it out below & let us know what you think.

Hello Gorgeous, welcome aboard! And please leave your shoes on! I don’t know why, but these heels instantly transported me to boarding a fabulous yacht, wearing a flowing sundress and matching hat. And if you know anything about yachting 101, heels are NOT ALLOWED! But these patent leather, nautical beauties by Miu Miu are so cute (if you can afford them), they’ll look quite splendid awaiting your return to dry land, in any corner of the yacht. Nevertheless, if $509 is way out to sea for your budget, have no fear – we threw you a lifeline.

Ahoy, Matey! Look what we have for you! “LANEY” by Topshop is spot on. Ooh, and I’m so digging the red patent leather. You can’t get more nautical than combining red, white & blue. And yet, I’m not mad at the nude and black combination. For $160, you really can’t go wrong… hurry before the ship sails on this great steal!
