So I’m a little obsessed with this woven leather wedge by Givenchy. I think it’ll be a great look to have in your wardrobe and it will go with just about anything! From your cut-off shorts to your long-fitted dress, this shoe is a must have! But I know it can’t be a must for everyone. Especially since the price tag is as high as $1.212! MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge Sandals

I really like the rust color of this MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge. Such a summery color and really fun to wear. Especially if you want that pop of color! The shoe also comes in ginger and antique brown though as well. All three colors are great options to get the Givenchy look down. Priced at ~$111, I think this wedge is a smart choice.

So the obvious 70s fashion craze is back for spring, and what better inspiration for this trend than these Althea Platform Wedges by Charles Anastase. So these may not be my latest shoe obsession, but they are already sold out! I do like the platform wedge though; it is certainly not very sensible as an everyday shoe, but that really has never interfered with fashion. The design is unique even though it seems a bit simple, but I think that’s what gives off the boho-chic vibe. However, they are sold out and regardless I don’t have the designer budget.

Though we have months ahead before it officially becomes spring and summer, these Mojo Moxy “Cher” Wedge Sandals are great for early shoppers. I think that the 70s inspiration in these wedges is really apparent, but they are much more wearable. These orange ones are probably my favorite, but they are also available in black and taupe.

Though summer is far ahead, these ebullient Christian Louboutin Miss Cristo Platform Sandals are not hard to notice. The straps give this rather casual wedge an elegant touch, while the cork heel maintains an element of minimalism. The bowknot detailing also adds a nice touch of decoration at its best. Such an amazing shoe, but at $595 and already sold out, the look-a-like below is great option.

As much as I adore the Louboutin Miss Cristo Platform Sandals there is no way I can afford them, especially on a student budget. The wedge is such a fabulous invention. Elongates the legs? Check. Adds height? Check. Looks great with dresses, pants, skirts and shorts? Check. The only thing that would make them absolutely perfect is if they didn’t hurt the feet. Oh wait, they don’t! I could spend hours comfortably walking in so many of my wedges, which makes me wish they went with every ensemble. These Miu Miu ones would make a quick and smooth transition into my wardrobe, except for the fact that they’re sold out. Well, I supposed I can’t have it all.
