Mixx Laura-01 Platform Pumps

UPDATE (08/29/2010): Just found an almost replica-like knockoff of the CL Rolando by Mixx. It has the shiny black patent, the same almond toe and hidden platform and even the signature red sole. Dolce Vita “Madison” Pumps

Louboutins are not easy to knock off and I have searched very loooong before I found these stunning Louboutin look-a-likes by Dolce Vita. They miss the red sole, but everything else is almost identical. The “Madison” pumps come in black and nude patent (such a cute color!), but if you prefer a matte version they are also available in an array of different colors and variations.

Nude Shoes Under $100!

We’ve been getting quite a few requests lately to do a post on affordable nude shoes. It’s a trend I have first seen emerging on the red carpet about 2 years ago. Eva Longoria seems to be pioneering this trend as she owns a multitude of nude heels. From simple Louboutin pumps to luscious champagne colored satin evening sandals we can regularly see Eva sporting nude footwear on and off the red carpet. And who can blame her? It’s probably as flattering as a shoe trend can be because nude shoes naturally elongate your legs and can be worn with almost any outfit either dressed up or down.

Heel(s) of the Day – Mixx Laura-01 Hot Hidden Platform Pumps

It was only yesterday that I told you about these hot hidden platforms pumps by Mixx. They’re very reminiscient of Christian Louboutin’s Rolando pumps and I was right to say that you better act fast if you want to snap these up because I just checked and the black version is already completely sold out at LuLu*s. Not surprising considering their price of $34!
