One of the biggest trends right now is 60s inspired wear, ranging from clothing, footwear, and handbags. This Chloé “Darla” Shoulder Bag demonstrates this 60s inspired appeal, which is exhibited in more of a modern way with an emphasis on sophistication. The lady-like silhouette complements the vintage aesthetic, by which this handbag is impeccably tailored. Though I usually associate Chloé for its affinity of neutral and tan hues, I appreciate the boldness of the red color. Seemingly, this bag shows off a feminine and vintage charm and I really love Rachel Bilson’s modern take on this trend.

A good friend of mine recently bought a Mulberry Bayswater (a gift to herself on her birthday) and for a week straight everyone oohed and ahhed over it at the office. It is a spectacular bag, to be sure, but I think this new Mulberry takes the cake: the Alexa – a slouchier, more casual version of the Bayswater named after British style export Alexa Chung who is a true devotee of the Mulberry brand. If you haven’t heard tell of this bag yet, you will. Speculated to be the “It” bag of the moment, the Alexa sold out instantaneously on NET-A-PORTER after being added last week. Restocks are supposed to follow soon, but even still, this beautiful creation is way out of my sad little budget.

The Alexa Hobo is an absolutely great shoulder bag by Mulberry! I’m really loving the postman’s lock closure in the front and the braided handle. This bag also comes with an extra shoulder strap just in case you’re being lazy. I’m all about a great hobo bag, especially one where you can throw everything in plus the kitchen sink! Yet, still a little on the pricey side; selling at €1.000 (approximately $1.440), let’s give you a bargain!

Real vs. Steal – Gucci New Bamboo Stud-Embellished Leather Tote

I’m really enjoying the look of this sleek Gucci Bamboo leather tote! Love the bamboo handle and of course the classic Gucci tassels. I also love that the bag comes with an extra strap just in case you get tired carrying it around your arm. Yet, the price tag is a little steep for me. If you’re willing to pay the $4.200 by all means go ahead! You’ll definitely receive compliments. But, if you want a steal we have one for you!
