Seriosuly, I’m not sure what’s the deal with me. Because I usually have quite the fear of heights. However, this does not apply when it comes to my shoes. ‘Cause I like my shoes high. Like, really high. 4 inches? That’s where the fun starts for me. Not that I’m that good at balancing those 5 inchers, but gosh, these look drop dead sexy on and are totally worth the pain they cause. Guess who shares my opinion? It’s Bebe. Because they’ve put sky-high into a new perspective with their new range of uber-high 5 inch stiletto platforms. Borderline stripperish, I admit, but we can’t let the strippers have all the fun, right, girls? ;)

Christian Louboutin‘s “Dillian” pumps were designed for 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Spring 2009 collection. I love the shape of the pumps, but the big petal/ruffle thing on the front makes me rather hesitant as it’s so big it could easily drown your feet. Still loving them? If you have about 2k of spare cash, you’re good to go.

Heel of the Day – Jessica Simpson Wasima Platform Pumps

So yesterday’s HotD was a red wedge and today’s red again. We also just did a trend report on animal print heels today and so I’m sitting there cruising Endless for their latest arrivals and woooosh totally freaking out upon the sight of these crazy high mary jane platforms by Jessica Simpson. Obsessed³

You know how I love a sky high platform heel. They’re not practical, not very wearable, prone to embarrassing wobbling and possible falling accidents, but I still heart a pretty platform above all. Even if it were just for posing or sitting in those 6 inch heels and feeling crazy sexy doing so. Which would be totally the case with these beauties. I admit I’m a little surprised to see Jessica Simpson’s line pumping out so many fab shoes (pleasantly though!). Somehow I doubt Jessica being involved very much in the designing process, but I guess she’s got a team of talented/clever designers who are certainly doing her homework and looking for inspiration on the runways. If red doesn’t tickle your fancy (Vahni, I’m talking to you ;) ), these are also available in an equally gorgeous royal blue suede.
