Lucky Brand

UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 12, 2012. Scroll down to see the new add.

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Aniston‘s style. She delicately walks the edges of trends while always maintaining a classic style that I’m pretty sure we’ll never look back on, thinking “God, WHAT was she wearing?” Last summer Jen started rocking a pair of Stuart Weitzman espadrilles that had me drooling. Clearly I wasn’t the only fan though; the Alex Espadrille Wedges flew off the shelves and were forever more impossible to find. They’re back now and available on several e-retailer sites and I would probably kill to own a pair. Seriously, I recommend you not being around me right now. Sadly these are just out of my price range.

Alright. So a hippie I am not. I love luxe boho, but that’s about as far as I go. However I’m not so daft as to think that there wouldn’t be a number of freespirits out there who would love a pair of Bally Roxine Cork Platform Sandals. I’m sure they would look fantastic with a short summer shift, and they’re probably supercomfy. They originally retailed for (…guffaw…) $450, but even at half off, that’s a lot of dough to get your hippie on.

If you’re not a stiletto girl and love the idea of a sensible shoe, these Lucky Brand “Taul” Embroidered Cork Sandals are probably the only pair I’ve ever written about that could even come close to the concept of sensible. And you can add cents to that sensibility—cents that stay in your pocket, that is. Because at $108.95 plus 10% off, plus free shipping, this pair definitely makes a lot more sense if you feel the need to free your inner flower child.
