Well one thing’s for sure, this boot definitely has moxy! [disclaimer] – To me it’s ugly yet cute at the same time. The color is a mossy, blah green/gray and the outside thick laces have a Frankenstein look to it. But hey, just like the definition of moxy (having guts) Elizabeth and James chose the appropriate name for their boot (foresight maybe?). And who am I to judge? This expensive E-Moxy lil’ sucker at $395 is sold out! But if you like the general shape of this boot, the steal below is actually cuter – check it out.

H By Halston “Kate” Platform Booties
Is it just me or do you like the H By Halston “Kate” bootie better? OMG, the color… the color puts me in a lighter mood already! It so reminds me of the changing fall colors outside right now. And speaking of lighter, this bootie won’t weigh so heavy on your shoe budget this month either – only $99.99. Now that’s what I call pretty.

If you consider yourself an avantgarde rebel of fashion or truly related to Sarah Jessica Parker’s cinematic twin Carrie Bradshaw, then these Nicholas Kirkwood sandals are for you. Although I’ll pass; these are a little too much (ok, way too much) for me in terms of both design and price. These… uhm, shall I say I-bet-they-have-a-wonderful personality heels (wink, wink) go for roughly $1.200! But have no fear you rebel without a cause and/or those without a lot of cash, we’ve done our homework and found an awesomely priced alternative!

I usually don’t get the OMG! SHOES!-fever when it comes to Dior because I tend to associate this brand with one-of-a-kind couture shows in Paris and luxuriously packaged beauty products rather than lustworthy heels but with these colorblocked ankle wrap stunners Dior has found a new fan in me! I love it when shoes take me places and this aptly named “Tahiti” pump does exactly that; it makes me think of a vacation somewhere on a Caribbean island. But while I love to fantasize how I flaunt these heels in Tahiti, at $1.550 per pair this is so not going to happen!

Jeffrey Campbell “Munroe” Lace-Up Pumps
While not as detailed as the original, these lace-up heels by Jeffrey Campbell will give you the same fun look as Dior but for a fraction of the cost. At $149.95, there’s certainly more left in the budget for a possible vacation to Tahiti! I also low how these come in other fun color combos such as aqua/yellow (check out Solestruck for that!).

So these Steve Madden leopard platforms are total man repellers, I get that. They don’t get the leopard trend or the extreme platform thing. But who cares what your boyf says about your shoes as long as you’re in love with your footwear? Whatever, moving on… these booties strongly remind me of Jeffrey Campbell’s “Lita” who was inspired by Charles Anastase himself, only I like the Steve Maddens better because imo they have a better arch and I’m also quite into the buckle on the front. Yes, they’re a little pricey, but if the run on the JC Litas was any indication I’m quite sure these will go just as fast, even at $169.95.

I can’t hardly wait for the sun to come out! These shoes are adorable and I love the cutout design. Almost reminds me of a crochet pattern from the Victorian era. I would love to see this shoe on a leisurely pursuit with a pair of cute cut-off shorts and a fitted tank and let the shoes do all the talking. And since it’s a neutral color the shoe can go with almost anything… I’m sure they’re comfortable as well since Joie is known for their luxury fabrics… Priced at $255, if this doesn’t quite match your budget here is a second option…

This Steve Madden version is almost an exact replica of the Joie shoe! Plus it’s only $69.95 and it comes in a variety of colors (bone, blush, black, cognac, mustard & teal) just in case you weren’t fond of the elephant leather the Joie comes in! Definitely a steal! Hopefully it’s just as comfortable as the Joie version, too!
