Though I’m not an enthusiast of satin coated shoes, there is something unique about the Christian Louboutin “Greissimo” Knotted Satin Platform Pumps. The more I looked at some of my favorite celebrities wearing them, the more inclined I was to like them. Maybe it’s the element of the Louboutin name or rather the simplicity of the design. Even for those who find these alluring pumps very praiseworthy, the price and retailer are unknown. On that note, we have a steal that won’t break your wallet.

Luichiny “Sure Thing” Satin Peep-toe Pumps

I really like the magenta color of these Luichiny “Sure Thing” Satin Peep-toe Pumps. Available in an array of colors, I think that these shoes will make a great addition to one’s wardrobe. There are a lot of elements to play around with, and the wide spectrum of hues makes it that much easier to incorporate a touch of color. Although these pumps are bold, I appreciate that they can also be dressed down for a more low-key look. Plus, these are priced under $100.

You know green is my all-time favorite color for as long as I can remember. And even though it’s not as prominent in my wardrobe as it was when I was a child, I still have a soft spot for everything green. So imagine my delight when Christian Louboutin came out with these suede ankle strap pumps this summer. It was like good meets better. What’s not so good about these? Yeah, the price obviously.

Butter “Stanley” Ankle-Strap Pumps

Butter have obviously taken a lot cues from Monsieur Louboutin for their “Stanley” ankle strap pumps. The knotted detail, the ankle strap, the material, the color, well, they basically copied everything except for the platform which is not as high. They are quite expensive for what we’d normal post as an alternative, but if you can’t get hold of the real thing and have a little extra cash to spend these here are the next best thing. And if you happen not to be a fan of the limey color, these also come in magenta, pink and powder suede as well as gold and silver metallic leather.

Readers, please meet my newest shoe obsession(s): “Kennis” by Carvela. I’m absolutely madly in love with these knotted platform wedges and the vibrant colors are so right for Spring. Also, the bottom stripes totally remind me of the shoes seen at Prada’s S/S 2011 collection. J’Adore!

Real vs. Steal – Ports 1961 Geisha Sandals

by Vanessa on September 18, 2010

When you’re “knot” looking for a pair of shoes, that’s always when you find them. That’s how these Ports 1961 sandals came into my life. I love the open sides and the unique heel and how the straps are thicker than the norm. These could easily become the shoe that saves me during my wardrobe crisises.

N.Y.L.A. “Katrina” Knotted Sandals

These sandals by N.Y.L.A. bring you the same knotted detail, but the platform makes them feel a little younger and the all over gold is best when paired with your formal attire. Available in gold, black and white.

Vince Camuto “Amberan” Sandals

If you’re loving the knots, but want something better suited for everday wear, these sandals by Vince Camuto are the answer. The bronze is less formal than the gold and the reptile heel and base are an excellent compliment to your favorite pair of skinny jeans. Available in bronze, steel, black and white.

I’ve heard a white shoe is hard to love. Be it the hard-to-clean color, the bridal connotation, or the invariable summer feel, people seem to shy away from this color. Well, I for one am all for white shoes. I have a pair of white snakeskin pumps that I wear pretty much every chance I get. Another pair I’d love to have in my shoe closet is Sigerson Morrison‘s Ankle Tie Wedge Sandals. The wedge is the perfect height, the bow is delightfully girly and the white is pure. They also have a touch of retro in them which I am a total sucker for.

Dollhouse “Tali” Wedge Sandals

Let me guess. You think the Sigerson Morrison Ankle Tie sandals are cute but not $332.50 cute (retail price $475!). Well, I don’t blame you. That’s a hard figure to swallow. Luckily, Dollhouse has come out with a great alternative. Their “Tali” wedge sandals in white look identical to our SMs, with the addition of a funky stacked wedge heel. They also come in a myriad of other colors which is sure to please you color-craving cooks. For a mere $41.95, why not taste the rainbow?
