This blue suede platform pump is probably one of my absolute favorites from Giuseppe Zanotti. I love the sky-high heel, the shape, the vibrant blue suede and for a Zanotti shoe this pump isn’t even too expensive at $650. Of course, still too pricey for my own budget…

So can we first gush a little about the incredibly talented lady that is Wendy from Wendy’s Lookbook?! Seriously, girl has got mad style & a very refined taste. Her outfits are always so well put together; never bland or boring. Case in point: this lovely striped outfit that instantly caught my eye. So I decided to recreate it on a more budget-friendly level. What do you think? Does it do Wendy’s style justice? I can’t believe she’s been style blogging only a little over a year. So the obvious 70s fashion craze is back for spring, and what better inspiration for this trend than these Althea Platform Wedges by Charles Anastase. So these may not be my latest shoe obsession, but they are already sold out! I do like the platform wedge though; it is certainly not very sensible as an everyday shoe, but that really has never interfered with fashion. The design is unique even though it seems a bit simple, but I think that’s what gives off the boho-chic vibe. However, they are sold out and regardless I don’t have the designer budget.

Though we have months ahead before it officially becomes spring and summer, these Mojo Moxy “Cher” Wedge Sandals are great for early shoppers. I think that the 70s inspiration in these wedges is really apparent, but they are much more wearable. These orange ones are probably my favorite, but they are also available in black and taupe.

Giuseppe Zanotti is the man broadening my horizon in terms of shoe design. Why? Because in my mind I’ve never put crystals together with the colorblocking trend until I’ve seen the fabulous Zanotti heel below and now I feel like it might be the only way to wear crystals or colorblocking on your shoes. But oh hey, have you seen that outrageous price tag of 1.300+? Well, Signore Zanotti, sorry, but that’s not my kind of shopping budget…
