All hail the master of the stiletto, Monsieur Christian Louboutin. Whenever I start wondering which Louboutin will rock my world next I discover a style like the “Clou Noeud” (try spelling that!), a perfect symbiosis of a feminine blush bow-adorned slingback pump and rocker, kickass conical studs and a platform a stripper heel would be proud of. It takes a lot these days to get me excited over a knockoff, but today was one of those days. Finding a budget-friendly Alexander McQueen look-a-like is ALWAYS a happy day in my book. McQueen is a brilliant talent and I’ve been in love with these heart-shaped peep-toes for what feels like forever now. But never was I lucky enough to find anything similar looking and I’ve given up hope to do so a long time ago. It was just in time that I stumbled upon a great pair of McQueen knockoffs that would make any Valentine’s Day outfit pop!

I discovered these McQueen look-a-likes by Frederick’s through the fab blog The Look 4 Less and thought these pumps were too good not to share. They look almost identical and come in three gorgeous colors and the best thing – they’re only $39! Yup! No joke, ladies. I guess this is what it feels like being in heaven… in shoe heaven that is. You could compliment the cuteness of these pumps with a romantic floral dress -OR- take the edgy route à la Taylor and don them with a micro LBD and black sheer tights. Just make sure not to pass up on these. Get your pair before it’s too late!

Giuseppe Zanotti must be one of the most talked-about designers here on this blog (closely followed by Christian Louboutin and Christophe Decarnin for Balmain). I know you might be bored with this kind of brand overexposure and I am thoroughly sorry if you are, but I can’t help it. I just LOVE his shoes. I obsess over and dream about them. The steep price of a real Giuseppe Zanotti shoe however is nothing but a nightmare to me. Not everyone was born with a silver spoon in the mouth, Mr. Zanotti!
