Hot or Not? – Dollhouse Prin Floral Platform Pumps

Floral print is EVERYWHERE and on EVERYTHING right now. We’re seeing it on pants and denim, skirts, tops, dresses, accessories. And while I do love anything with a flower print on apparel I’m not 100% sure whether I love floral printed shoes just as much because I usually prefer clear lines and clear patterns on my footwear. However, these Dollhouse floral espadrille platforms sure are attention grabbers – & in a good way I think. These would look great with a summery white dress or solid colored capri pants, especially the bright pink or turquoise version. What do you think? How gorgeous are these Dolce & Gabbana slingback wedges? Chances are you’ve probably seen them before – on the fabulous Rumi from Fashiontoast. I find it very easy to fall in love with these darlings. And this is exactly what happened to Rumi; she’s been heavily obsessed with these wedges and has worn them more than a dozen times with jeans, dress, over tights… well, basically with anything. These amazing platforms are from Charles Anastase‘s S/S 2009 show but I guess I’m a little behind the curve because I only just discovered them. While I can’t imagine anyone actually wearing them (how did the models not break their necks strutting down the runway?) I do find them aesthetically pleasing. If only that heel was just a little shorter and I think we would have ourselves a winner.
