Looking at all these t-strap espadrille wedges which ALL look practically identical my assumption is that all of these are knockoffs of some designer heel I haven’t seen or heard of yet. Even though the priciest option here is $150 which compared to all those $800 designer shoes that are often featured here is still on the lower price spectrum I like how there’s still some deal to be had. You can save either 30%, 40% or, if you opt for the cheapest version, a whopping 70%! The look will be the same.

Black Rooster “Highpeak” Espadrille Wedges
P.S.: While this little post was waiting to get published, I happened to stumble upon yet another wedge that looks identical to the ones shown above. In terms of price, Black Rooster‘s Highpeak lies between N.Y.L.A. and Bucco though I’m 95% sure the Black Roosters are just a rebranded version of the N.Y.L.A.s or the other way round. Theser come in a range of beautiful colors including a super lovely blush, gold, black and cognac.

I’m really into cognac right now. The color! Last weekend my sister and I were strolling a flea market when I spied a gorgeous cognac colored handbag made of the most exquisite Italian leather. It was love at first sight and even though it wasn’t a total steal I still had to have it. These wedge sandals by Joe’s Jeans would go perfectly with my new bag. Now I just wish I could find these somewhere on a flea market for a steal price as well. Sigh!

Well this is definitely the season of the wedge. We’ve seen them pop up in countless Spring/Summer shows, in various colors and textiles. I think what makes them so popular is that they’re a versatile shoe: inherently casual but just add leather or a bow and you’ve got yourself one hot date shoe. The Miu Miu Cork and Leather Wedge Sandal embodies this perfectly. A luxe mocha leather and some exquisite details (knots, stitching, leather wrapped around the heel) make this sky-high wedge stand out from the pack.

Rosegold “Casey” Wedges
Rosegold is a company after our own heart. Only recently on our radar, they seem to be dedicated to delivering almost replica-like knockoffs of our favorite shoes. Do you recall the post back in November wherein we featured Rosegold and their Isabel Marant Otway Studded Booties knockoff? Those were excellent but take a look at these. I beg of you to spot a difference between these Casey wedges and the original Miu Miu wedges, above. Besides a slightly lower (read: more manageable) heel, they look virtually identical. At $168 they may not be a total impulse buy, but that’s still a ridiculously good price compared to the originals! Available in black and brown.

There’s something irresistible about cognac colored leather boots. They’re timeless, chic and perfect for fall. My absolute favorite is a pair of tan distressed leather boots. You can see me wearing them almost every day whenever temperatures start to drop. When I spotted these darling boots by Steve Madden while browsing Zappos’ newest arrivals they instantly reminded me of the boots I have at home. It was love at first sight!
