Real vs. Steal – Chloé Penelope Wedge Sandals

Menswear is ultimately my favorite trend, but the femininity of these Chloé wedges is irresistible. Though they may have a feminine touch, you can wear them in a multitude of ways including menswear aesthetic. The bow tie adds just the right amount of dynamism between it and the design, without distracting from the simplistic beauty of the shoe. This would be a very fashion-worthy splurge if they were in my budget. As I am not able to invest in Chloé wedges, the steal below is a splendid alternative.

Steve Madden earns the role of a hero when it comes to imitating designs from very lavish labels, hence Chloé. First off, I have to mention my affinity for these shoes because I simply cannot find a single flaw about them. The wedge height is stellar, and so is every other detail! They are lacking the bow detail, but the buckle makes a wonderful substitute and really adds a casual element. If I have yet to convince you, check them out in a variety of tones such as natural, black, and brown.

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Aniston‘s style. She delicately walks the edges of trends while always maintaining a classic style that I’m pretty sure we’ll never look back on, thinking “God, WHAT was she wearing?” Last summer Jen started rocking a pair of Stuart Weitzman espadrilles that had me drooling. Clearly I wasn’t the only fan though; the Alex Espadrille Wedges flew off the shelves and were forever more impossible to find. They’re back now and available on several e-retailer sites and I would probably kill to own a pair. Seriously, I recommend you not being around me right now. Sadly these are just out of my price range.
