Heel of the Day – Boutique 9 Detective Suede High Heel Sandals

It’s been a while since I last featured a Heel of the Day here on this blog. This is mainly due to me feeling very uninspired by the shoes that came out lately. However, when I first laid my eyes on these stunning red high heel sandals by Boutique 9 my obsession with shoes was fully restored. Even more so when I saw the $140 price tag! What, $140 only? To me these heels look very designer to me. Color me impressed. And just for the record: I’m so going to buy these red heels. Just not right now. My current budget still hasn’t fully recovered from the Christmas craze that happened last month.

Anne Michelle Addiction 55 Buckled Booties

Once again Anne Michelle comes to the rescue! Their “Nitoinimoi” knockoff is almost a 1:1 copy of the real deal. The only differences are the missing red sole and the pointed toe which is square on the originals. Everything else from the shape to the bandages and the buckles looks identical. And they’re so inexpensive, too! Only $44. Such a great deal, gotta love LuLu*s.

I know these boots by Boutique 9 are more of an “inspired-by” kind rather than a complete rip-off, but I still think they fit the bill for a great Louboutin alternative. I’m also sort of in love with them even though they are not a steal at $229. Also available in brown.

Real vs. Steal – Yves Saint Laurent Cut-Out Platform Sandals

There’s something about YSL shoes that always keeps me fascinated. I think it’s how most of their shoes have this chunky, awfully impractical platform and the resulting ultra-high stiletto heel that comes with such a platform shape. Perfect examples are the Tribute sandals, the infamous YSL Trib Two pumps and also these black suede platform sandals below which I find myself being quite fond of.

Bebe “Maya” Leather Cutout Sandals

For weeks I was desperately trying to identify these Bebe knockoffs. I think I already mentioned my knockoff intuition in a previous post. I knew that these platforms were designer knockoffs, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The mystery is now finally resolved. If you prefer a different color and want to cut off the price by more than 50%, there is also a tiger-printed suede version of the Maya sandal available which is on sale for $38.49.

Heel of the Day – Boutique 9 Keeva High-Heeled Sandals

One word. LUST. Oh, how I am lusting after these black buckled beauties by Boutique 9! I might stray from time to time; coveting a bright wedge or a pair of cute flats but I’ll always come back for a classic black stiletto heel. Sexy black heels are the foundation of my shoe collection! Sometimes I feel guilty for having so many black heels in my closet but then again, somehow I do not.
