So these Steve Madden leopard platforms are total man repellers, I get that. They don’t get the leopard trend or the extreme platform thing. But who cares what your boyf says about your shoes as long as you’re in love with your footwear? Whatever, moving on… these booties strongly remind me of Jeffrey Campbell’s “Lita” who was inspired by Charles Anastase himself, only I like the Steve Maddens better because imo they have a better arch and I’m also quite into the buckle on the front. Yes, they’re a little pricey, but if the run on the JC Litas was any indication I’m quite sure these will go just as fast, even at $99.98.

No, these Jeffrey Campbell platforms probably won’t get the seal of approval from the boyf nor are they office appropriate or your goes-with-everything shoes, but still my heart skips a beat whenever I take a closer look at these wonderfully bright suede platform booties. I’m especially smitten with the turquoise version; looking at it makes my mind switch to vacation mode. “Lita” is one of JC’s most popular shoe styles and Solestruck carries this shoe in a whopping 34 (!) different colors & finishes, so even though the people around me might not approve of my shoe choice, at least I can be sure there are hundreds (probably rather thousands) of other fashionistas who share my love for these beauties.
