Finally! I’ve gotta tell you guys, I have been anxiously awaiting the “knock-off” version of the Alexander Wang Alla wedges for months now and judging from the amount of emails we’ve received on this shoe, I’m not the only one. These super cute wedges are not only super pricey but also super sold out. I initially saw them on Khloe Kardashian (the leopard version) and it was love at first sight. Since then I’ve been both stalking them on eBay (totally fruitless) and looking for “steal” versions (also completely pointless)…

Joan & David “Opal” Wedge Booties

Well our patience seems to have paid off. Joan & David‘s “Opal” Wedge Booties are not the cheapest steal we’ve ever featured, but gosh, they’re good, aren’t they? In all the most important ways, these booties are an awesome knockoff of the Allas. Beautiful shape, rich color, peep-toe… half the price… now all we need is a leopard version. For now though, I’ll take the black leather or black suede.

Heel of the Day – Sam Edelman Uma Ankle Boots

Ankle boot madness has officially started! Lately, I’m coming across so many gorgeous booties it’s unbelievable. Makes kissing summer goodbye a bit easier. Now while I’m still pretty big on the whole leopard trend, in the case of these buckled booties by Sam Edelman I’m a little undecided which version I actually prefer: the classic black suede or the wild leopard + zebra print ponyhair. What do you think?

Heel of the Day – KORS Michael Kors Marianna Wedge Ankle Boots

Obsessed! I think I might have found the perfect pair of ankle boots for the upcoming fall season. Aren’t these KORS Michael Kors beauties absolutely & totally gorgeous? The wedge heel makes them super wearable, I love the mix of suede and leather and the silver buckles add just the right amount of detail to this streamlimed classic ankle boot style. J’Adore! I really wish they’d be a bit cheaper though since $375 would leave quite a dent in my shopping budget. Bummer! Available in black, mahagony and slate leather.

I’m stumped. At a total loss for words. And for someone who loves to gab this is truly rare! Why the muteness? I can’t decide if I’m feeling this Isabel Marant pointy elf-ish looking boot or not. Real vs. Steal – Giuseppe Zanotti I07014 Ruched Platform Booties

Lady Gaga, Lady Gaga, Lady Gaga. I’m sorry, but that’s the first thing that comes to mind when I look at these Giuseppe Zanotti boots. You? Yes, no… not so much? Well, put it this way: these aren’t for everybody. For one thing, the heel height, I’m gonna guess, is about 6-7 inches! At 5’10″ I will be passing on these. Not that it matters, these height-be-damned booties are $1.250 and oh yeah fashionable monsters – SOLD OUT!

Enzo Angiolini “Filia” Zip Ankle Boots

Hello Enzo Angiolini! I’m really feeling these “Filia” ankle boots that mirror (in a reverse funhouse kinda way) the Zanotti boots. The heel height is definitely about 3-4 inches shorter. Constructed in suede and not what I’m sure is butter-like leather. Consolation prize? Available in grey & black for only $149! I don’t know about you, but this makes me wanna… just dance! ;-)
