Well, the season for open footwear such as these turquoise suede Prada sandals is pretty much over, but I couldn’t help but show these to you because I really love these little darlings. Love the color, the delicate suede, the cut-outs, the rounded heel. They’re just absolutely lovely and still rockable if you don’t mind wearing tights with open sandals.

Where does one begin when a boot is called Miss Fast Plato? Except, you go Ms. Thang, with your bad self! Who am I to question the great Mr. Louboutin? Oh no, not I, said the girl nicknamed Ms. Heel. ;-) I don’t ever get the names he assigns to his shoes, but I do know that by wearing this simple yet sexy boot, you’ll be one badass chick. Well hello there, Miss Slow-To-Open-The-Wallet! We know you love to look good on a budget; that’s why we graciously went in search of a budget-friendly, but by no means, uncompromising sexy version of the Louboutin boot. And If I may say so myself, we did pretty good. “Gracious” by Nine West is remarkably similar (minus the heel height) for only a $109. Real vs. Steal – Givenchy Multi Strap Wedges

How kickass are these shiny multi strap wedges by Givenchy? When I first saw the footwear collection for the S/S 2010 collection I was unsure if fast fashion chains would answer the call by replicating these extreme almost fetish-style shoes. But surprisingly a lot of them did and we’ve had several of the Givenchy shoes available for those on a lighter shoe shopping budget.

Current Obsessions – Fall 2010 Edition

With every season change I’m tempted to empty my whole wardrobe and stuff it with all-new stuff again. These are my current obsessions:

  1. NASTY GAL Shearling Aviator Jacket, $98 – Shearling jackets? Do I really need to explain it? I love the Burberry-esque vibe, the rich brown color & the price!
  2. Rachel Rachel Roy Marquesa Dresscj, $119 – Most of us naturally transition to dark and muted colors during the fall season which is fine with me most of my time, but sometimes I like to break up the greys, browns and blacks with a dash of color. I love the almost neon-like vibrancy of this canary yellow dress and think it would make a great and unexpected dress for all the upcoming holiday parties.
  3. B. Makowsky “Makati” Shopperendless, $288 – There’s something about this bag that screams Hermés to me. Maybe it’s the rich burnt orange color or the textured leather, I just know it would make a great addition to my rather measly bag collection.
  4. Napoleon Perdis Devine Goddess Lipstick in Calypsocj, $22 – Really addicted to hot pink lipstick right now! I think it’s a flattering though admittedly daring shade for almost every skin and hair type.
  5. China Glaze Nail Laquer in Turned Up Turquoisecj, $6.50 – The weather is absolutely at its worst here right now. It’s cold, rainy and depressingly grey. Light up your day with a hint of Carribbean feeling by opting for turquoise nail polish.
  6. ASOS Tailored Twist Front Ponti Pencil Dressls, $65.51 – I think I declared my love for cobalt blue a few times already and with dresses I like to stick with classic silhouettes like this fine pencil dress here.
  7. MICHAEL Michael Kors “Runway” Rose Gold Watchls, $250 – I’ve always loved rose gold jewelry and accessories ever since I was a kid and first saw them in my mom’s jewelry drawer. I’m glad the trend is coming back with Victoria Beckham’s rose gold Rolex being the trigger of the recent rose gold wave.
  8. MICHAEL Michael Kors “Fulton” Bootiesendless, $185 – There’s no way I could end an obsessions list without at least one pair of shoes, right? These suede Michael Kors zipper booties would make a great addition to my shoe closet and I’m sure I’d get a ton of wear out of them.
  9. ASOS Long Hair Faux Fur Coatls, $120.68 – Now I’m usually not one to fall for big, fluffy (faux) fur coats, but this one I ADORE! It looks so soft and cozy, stylish on top and quite affordable, too. L.O.V.E.
