And here we go with a second “Style Blogger Look 4 Less”-feature for a look I spotted on the adorable Wendy from Wendy’s Lookbook a few days ago. As usual I loved her look head-to-toe, especially the cute floral shorts and cap-toe pumps, and hence decided to recreate it but with a more budget-friendly approach. Also our look is less peachy and more monochrome than Wendy’s, but I still think we hit the right tone here.

Sequins + X ( x meaning anything) = FABULOUS! I adore sequins! It’s such a girly fabric. Even at my age of… grown 
, I can appreciate the glitz & glamour of it all. C’mon, who doesn’t need that in our otherwise ordinary lives? That’s why, at first glance, this sweet sequin dress by Alice + Olivia put the biggest smile on my face. The price tag however? Not so much. I usually don’t get the OMG! SHOES!-fever when it comes to Dior because I tend to associate this brand with one-of-a-kind couture shows in Paris and luxuriously packaged beauty products rather than lustworthy heels but with these colorblocked ankle wrap stunners Dior has found a new fan in me! I love it when shoes take me places and this aptly named “Tahiti” pump does exactly that; it makes me think of a vacation somewhere on a Caribbean island. But while I love to fantasize how I flaunt these heels in Tahiti, at $1.550 per pair this is so not going to happen!

Jeffrey Campbell “Munroe” Lace-Up Pumps
While not as detailed as the original, these lace-up heels by Jeffrey Campbell will give you the same fun look as Dior but for a fraction of the cost. At $149.95, there’s certainly more left in the budget for a possible vacation to Tahiti! I also low how these come in other fun color combos such as aqua/yellow (check out Solestruck for that!).

A few days ago actress Blake Lively has been spotted running errands on the Gossip Girl set in what I would describe as a perfect casual summer ensemble. The blonde beauty paired a blue button down shirt over an off-white tank top which she wore with navy shorts and a tan skinny belt. Her look was finished with lustworthy chocolate brown Louboutin espadrille wedges and a tan bowler bag. Absolutely adorable! D’uh! Of course, how could I forget the prices?! All of these gorgeous items cost more than what I’d normally spend on tops, belts, shoes and shorts. So what’s a girl with a limited budget to do? Easy, I put my look-4-less skills at test and tried to recreate Shopbop’s lovely look on a more budget-friendly basis. I’m quite happy with the outcome; it’s not a 100% match and not as charming as Shopbop’s version, but the overall look & feel is almost the same and price-wise it’s totally doable.
