Christian Louboutin is the mastermind behind the designer footwear aesthetic. Often considered to be one of the most well known designers, his designs are truly never lackluster and always exude luxury. Capturing our attention a few months ago were the Pigalle Plato Pumps, and now these Pigalle 120 Patent-Leather Pumps do just the same. This papaya-pink color featured below is simply amazing with the addition of a pointed toe. Before, I never really appreciated any pointy toe shoes, however these pumps have sincerely changed my perspective. Priced at $625, I, for one will not be purchasing these any time soon. Conversely, take a look at more affordable versions of these pumps below!

Alloy “Molly” Heels

HOT DEAL: Use promo code “APE15A” to get 15% OFF your entire order!

Our most affordable steal, priced at $29.90, are these Alloy “Molly” heels. Simply put, I love this color! With summer shortly approaching, I have been craving bright colors in my wardrobe and this shoe is the perfect way to incorporate them. These also come in neon yellow for even more vividness. Truly an eye capturing shoe, one can make quite a statement in these heels.

Devious Sexy-20 Stiletto Pumps

Out of all the featured look-a-likes, this one by Devious appears to be the most significant because it very closely resembles the Louboutins. The patent shine, color, and super elongated heel are perfectly intact and maintain that Louboutin-esque look. With this type of shoe, it’s very difficult to go wrong especially when it radiates such a bold energy. Ultimately, these can be worn as a transition to summer and even in the winter for a nice pop of color.

Topshop “GAME” Pointed Court Shoes

Topshop is definitely one of my favorite stores due to their eclectic wardrobe varieties. Not to mention, these “Game” Pointed Court Shoes are absolutely beautiful. Though these are a bit pricier than the other alternatives above, I believe that they will become a permanent staple in one’s closet. They complement any outfit, and provide that extra vitality to spice up a dull look. I would love to pair them with perfectly tailored pants, but the wardrobe possibilities are simply superfluous.

Lately, I’ve been craving a pair of cat eye sunglasses like ca-ha-razy and I had very specific expectations about how they should look like. I knew I wanted them in brown tortoise with oversized degradé lenses and the cat eye form shouldn’t be too extreme either. So after checking out the latest sunglass fashion offerings, I’ve decided that this pair of Gucci sunnies was the most perfect pair of sunglasses I have ever seen in my life! Well, perfect in every way except for one thing, of course. The price. $220? Whoa, big bummer here!

UPDATE (04/24/2012): Came across another budget-friendly steal alternative which is available at Alloy. Not too thrilled about the rhinestones, but luckily they’re barely noticeable.

If you’re looking for a great pair of sunnies in the style of the Gucci version above, but don’t want to spend more than $150+, how about these lovely shades by Kate Spade instead? They’re very similar to the Gucci sunglasses, but cost only $114.84.

Sunglass Warehouse SW Cat Eye Style #1363

I know these cat eye sunnies by Sunglass Warehouse are no perfect match, but they’ll give you the same look as all the key elements are there (Cat Eye? Check! Tortoise? Check. Brown Gradient Lenses? Check!). Only these cost less than 10% than their big original Gucci sister. Can’t argue that price! Available in 4 colors.

I usually don’t like publishing 2 consequent posts about the same brand, but in the case of Brian Atwood I think I can make an exception. His rise to fame started somewhen last year with the “Maniac” platform pump which was one of the first 5″ heels to conquer the red carpet & every female celebrity’s heart. Nude pumps were starting to make the round back then and Brian Atwood’s version was especially appealing with its hidden platform, the high arch and delicious taupe color. Despite their hefty price tag of almost $600, it didn’t take long until these were completely sold out.

Steve Madden “RUSSHH” Platform Pumps

Ever since I discovered Brian Atwood’s Maniac pumps I was hoping and waiting for a good copy to come along. Surprisingly, it took longer than expected, but we finally have a Maniac doppelgänger courtesy of Steve Madden. Madden’s version isn’t quite as high and the color is not a perfect match, but at that price I’m not complaining. Available in 9 different colors and finishes: black, blush, fuchsia, lavender, nude, teal and wine patent as well as black and plum suede.

Hey… Jane Aldridge stole my Mongolian lamb vest! To get back at her, I might have to steal her Barneys CO-OP Over-the-Knee Buckle Boots. Especially since they retailed for $740 and sold clean out. Of course, I’m kidding people. About the vest, at least. The boots did sell out, and there’s no reason to wonder why. Look how hot they are on Jane! Say what you will about this uber-famous bloggerista—but she’s got style in spades.

Attention to all those that eat… oh I don’t know, 500 calories a day! This 1/2 a yard of fabric is for you. And for the record: I AM NOT HATING! I, too, can wear this dress (with Spanx, of course – sadly I think the Spanx may be longer than the dress). C’mon, there just isn’t a lot of fabric to this simple yet sexy James Perse dress. That’s why I will leave this tiny little dress with the not-so-big price tag for those with a little body and a not-so-small ego! You go, girl. :-)

ASOS Body-Conscious Dress with Scoop Neck

Don’t cha just love ASOS? A rare retailer who understands that sometimes less is well… LESS! Especially true when it comes to this body-con clone. My God, did they actually make it smaller? Yes, they did. Or better yet: Oh no, they didn’t! ;-) Oh well, glad to see that the price tag is just as tiny as the dress. At only $36, unite skinny chicks of the world – buy it in all three colors: red, purple and black.
