Just in case you lived under a rock for the last few months – thigh high boots are BIG this fall. Designers like Stella McCartney, Rodarte, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chloé and many, many more have included over-the-knee footwear into their Fall 2009 collection. Celebrities such as Victoria Beckham or Shakira are already incorporating this trend into their wardrobes and I’ve seen a few editorials showing this controversial footwear as well. They may not be to everyone’s taste, but whether you like it or not: this is not the last time you’ll see thigh-high boots this fall.

Leave it to Jeffrey Campbell to adapt this new, daring trend first and make it available to women without a $2000 shoe budget. His Stella McCartney inspired perforated over-the-knee boots may not fully live up to the real deal, but they’re still a fabulous alternative for a fraction of the original’s price. If only they would’ve kept the metal cap platform, but at that price I guess you just can’t have it all. Also available in taupe/grey leather and black suede.

@Chiara: You’re welcome. My favorite is the black leather (even though the taupe/grey is badass, too). If you plan on purchasing them: get both, see which one you like more in person, keep those and return the others
I am on the fence about these boots, they look great when you see them on people but i am like 5’3 I think they would make me look shorter. One thing is for sure if you rock these you have to rock them with confidence.

HELLO STRIPPER STORES.. There are a pair I saw online and they look almost the same. They are faux leather thight high with no platform and stilleto heel. Great thing is they cost 55.99. I’m going to buy them and then see what I can do!

Just ran across this $29.90 “Wild Rose Furge-98 Cut-Out Thigh High Boot.” Not as tall, but definitely has the perforated look.
