Back to Balmain, huh? It’s almost unbelievable to see how much Balmain gets copied these days when just 2 years ago almost no one knew this brand and now they’re selling $10k dresses like crazy. That’s how the fashion world spins sometimes.

Life is funny sometimes. A few days ago one of our readers mailed us and asked whether we were able to identify a pair of nude open-toe pumps Miranda Kerr was wearing to an event recently. As a shoe addict, this was not a difficult task and I instantly recognized the stitched pumps which were Miu Miu. The nude version was already sold out everywhere, so I tried to find some good alternatives for Corrine, but no real luck. That was until yesterday when I found the perfect pair of knockoffs for the black patent version.

Celebrities Love Miu Miu

Victoria Beckham was the first to sport the cute Miu Miu peep-toes back in March. The lovely Drew Barrymore wore the slingback version in red to “Live with Regis and Kelly” and Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr is wearing her nude Miu Mius to almost every public event she attends at the moment.

BCBGeneration “Doriel” Stitched Pumps

Look at these Miu Miu knockoffs by BCBGeneration. Don’t they look almost identical? I accidentally stumbled upon these yesterday when I was randomly browsing the web for something totally different. So glad I found these. They look amazing for a budget-friendly Miu Miu look-a-like and they even have the stitching on the heel which I loved about the Miu Mius. Other color options include black, grey, plum and taupe suede.

Last month Sienna Miller was doing a big G.I. Joe promo tour including several TV show visits. For her appearance on the Today show Sienna opted for a scarlet red ruffled Zac Posen silk dress which she accessorized with black Chloé bow-front sandals. What a cute and feminine outfit, I really loved it!

Alexander McQueen‘s Fall 2009 collection was pretty much quintessential McQueen. Part macabre Rocky Horror Picture Show, part British Elegance meets Perfect Tailoring. My feelings towards this collection were mixed and the clown make-up HORRIFIED me, but I found myself adoring a few of the presented pieces. Houndstooth was a key element in McQueen’s fall designs and the jacket below was part of my favorite McQueen ensemble from that collection.

While this winter coat by BB Dakota isn’t strictly a knockoff, I’d say it’s at least inspired by the Alexander McQueen jacket above. I instantly fell in love with this coat and McQueen’s Fall 2009 collection was the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw it. It’s a timeless, feminine coat & ultra cute, too (the buttons, the belt, the voluminous hem *swoon*). Oh, and the price isn’t too shabby either for such a versatile fall/winter key item.

I think it’s impossible I’ll ever grow tired of Christian Louboutin shoes. Seriously. Monsieur Louboutin always finds a way to excite me. I think I already mentioned that out of all the classic Louboutin styles, I love the “Rolando” pumps the most. Why? Because they are perfect in every way and make a woman’s legs look a mile long, that’s why.

P.S.: If you prefer a more classic color, I also found great Rolando knockoffs in black patent.

Dorothy Perkins Snakeskin Pumps

These faux snakeskin pumps by Dorothy Perkins instantly reminded me of the Louboutin pumps. I know the texture and coloring is not an identical match, but the shape and overall look resemble the Rolandos. All Louboutin aficionados from Europe and UK can now buy their own pair of Rolandos without having to shell out whopping $1.195.

By the way, you can save an additional 15% on shoes & boots if you order until midnight Tuesday 8th September. Hurry!
