It’s mostly all about high end designer fashion here on this blog, but once in a while a trend is born right among us in the budget fashion sector. Case in point: these vividly blue Zara slingback high heel sandals. I feel like I’ve seen these strappy heels a thousand times on Instagram this year and I’ve been obsessed with them ever since I first saw them on the Zara website. They weren’t expensive at $79.90, but unfortunately these heels sold out so fast that many didn’t get a chance to buy them in the first place, me included. I then tried to hunt them down on eBayebay, but the asking prices of $100+ (for used shoes!) were absolutely ridiculous! So I was slowly coming to terms that I would have to let these beauties go. Luckily, I was wrong!

These heels by Casadei are nothing short of fierce, a perfect blend of minimalistic steel with curvaceously constructed leather. If these shoes were inspired by a piece of furniture, I’d guess it was the sultry Barcelona Chair by Mies van der Rohe. Only thing is, the now sold-out pair cost almost as much! But of course, we always have another option, so see for yourself what an amazing deal we found below.

What can I say about these cone-heel leather mix booties by Iro other than they are utter perfection? I just have a soft spot for ankle boots; can’t help it! These here have a certain Isabel Marant vibe (“Andrew” or “Otway“, anyone?) and we all know that Madame Marant makes for some lustworthy shoes. Iro is a French designer brand and hasn’t really been on my fashion radar yet, but judging by their gorgeous footwear (which is currently a little Marant-esque) I should change that stat! Too bad their price range doesn’t really match my shopping budget.

Steve Madden “POWERWLK” Ankle Boots

When I wrote a Real vs. Steal post on Isabel Marant’s “Andrew” booties two weeks ago, one of our readers suggested that Steve Madden‘s “POWERWLK” ankle boots would also be a good fit for a steal deal. But when I took a look at said boots, I immediately recognized that these are supposed to be a dupe of Iro’s “Keira” booties. Either way, it’s a great looking shoe and an almost identical dupe match for the Iro booties above. Score!

Christian Louboutin. So Kate. In a bootie version! Now if that doesn’t make you gasp for air, I don’t know what would! I mean, just look at this perfectly curved arch! I’ve always been obsessed with Louboutin’s insanely sexy “So Kate” pumps and now that they’ve gotten a fall/winter update in the form of these gorgeous heeled stiletto booties, I guess I’ll have to once again expand my imaginary wish list of designer shoes I wish I could afford (which is already long enough). These killer stiletto booties come in a range of beautiful colors and uppers and are available in either a 4″ (left) or 5″ (right) version. Unfortunately, these heels are so popular, they’re virtually sold out everywhere. Bummer!

When it comes to designer shoes, I do love big names such as Louboutin, Zanotti and Blahnik, but Gianvito Rossi is my newest discovery and probably a big name soon himself. Admittedly, he’s actually not much of a newbie, but I feel like this brand has risen its profile drastically lately. Rossi shoes are a big thing now and you can find them in almost any designer fashion store nowadays. Looking at shoes like the one pictured below, Rossi’s success doesn’t really surprise me. His aesthetic vision is clear, his designs meticulous and the craftmanship superb (it’s “Made in Italy”, after all!). Too bad all this shoe goodness comes with a matching price tag.
