Shoes will always be my first love, but occasionally I will stray a little and fall for a nice handbag. Such as this absolutely gorgeous statement clutch by Clare V.! I love the boldness of the leopard print and, as you can see from the picture below, you can either let the bag stand out by itself or pair it with other statement pieces to achieve a more dramatic look. At $220, it’s not a super expensive splurge, but it ain’t exactly budget-friendly either.

Tony Bianco “Malibu” Cheetah Print Pony Hair Fold Over Clutch

While browsing through Tony Bianco‘s new arrivals recently, I discovered this pony hair fold over clutch and had to do a double take to make sure I wasn’t looking at the Clare V. original. Sure, TB’s “Malibu” clutch isn’t that much cheaper than the real deal, but it’s still about $60 less and if you live in Australia it’s definitely more convenient to buy this one than order the original from overseas.

Dior‘s “Mise En Dior” Earrings have become quite the new “It“-piece in the fashion world. They are pretty much sold out everywhere, despite their heavy price tag of $290 (and we’re talking costume jewelry here). I must say I am still a little undecided whether I love or hate these because while they do look great on the promo pics and on the celebs below, I’ve also seen pictures where they looked rather big and clumpy and made their wearer’s ears look huge and padded. But still, I am slightly leaning towards loving them for some reason. Maybe because they’re Dior.

We’ve seen a lot of colorblocking this year, mostly on clothes. Pierre Hardy incorporated this trend into his Fall 2011 collection which resulted in the blue-beige-rust colorblock suede sandals you see below. I do like the design, but the color combination is a little lackluster, don’t you agree? And this at $1.285!

Now that’s more like it! Good old Jeffrey Campbell took the Pierre Hardy design and spiced it up with more vibrant colors. Still a bit pricey at almost $200 but so much cheaper than the original!

These sexy black strappy buckle heels by Giuseppe Zanotti are already a couple seasons old (Fall 2010, to be exact), but I’ve never been able to forget these super hot stiletto sandals. I love the cagey look of the multiple straps and the asymmetrical arrangement of the silver buckles. Such a gorgeous shoe, but unfortunately also a very expensive one!

Steve Madden “RECITAL” Strappy Sandals

It feels like I’ve been waiting ages for a worthy Zanotti alternative to pop up and finally Steve Madden delivered. It’s not an identical match as it is missing two buckled straps, but the overall look is still very similar to Zanotti’s strappy designer heels.

When it comes to shoes, I don’t mind mine to look a bit bondage-y because it instantly adds sex appeal and confidence to any outfit. That’s why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I’m quite obsessed with these buckled multi-strap high heel sandals from Italian shoemaster Giuseppe Zanotti. But I can love these heels all I want, it won’t change the fact that they’re way out of my budget at more than $700 and that’s already the sale price! This means no Zanottis for me just yet.

bebe love a sexy shoe, so I wasn’t surprised to find this Giuseppe Zanotti look-a-like high heel in their virtual shoe shelves. The design isn’t quite as polished as the real deal’s, but for less than $150 we ain’t complainin’, right? Available in black or cognac brown leather.
