Real vs. Steal – Lanvin Thigh-High Platform Boots

by Irina on October 19, 2010

The whole over-the-knee boot trend first started somewhen last year and French fashion house Lanvin was not only one of the first adaptors but also had a few of the best looking OTK/thigh-high boots out there. Case in point: the high heeled boots below. I love how simple yet detailed they are. What I don’t love is the astronomical price though! And the fact that they’re from last season and hence nowhere to be found anymore.

The OTK trend is still going strong in 2010 and if you’re daring enough to give this trend a try why not letting Vince Camuto give you the Lanvin look for 1/10 of the price? You can choose to wear these boots folded open or, if you prefer the traditional look, keep them folded over. Available in black leather or charcoal suede.

Definetely its a great option but still I cant find a real THIGH high boot! As high as Lanvin’s…

Olya, not that this will make your wallet very happy, but Louboutin makes one with a zipper up the back which are AH-MAY-ZING. Now, if there is a similar one out there, I don’t know about it but wish I did 🙂

  • Olya, check out this boot by Penny Loves Kenny.
