Ooooh, hello, my lovelies! – You really have to leave it to Jimmy Choo for creating the most lustworthy high heels with that extra oomph. These have roughly the same shape as Choo’s “Greta” sandals which I love just as much. On these I especially love the sparkling faceted crystals which totally remind me of obsidian (= a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock). So hot and sexy, right? You know what’s absolutely not hot though? The whopping price tag of $1.550! Le sigh!

ShoeMint “Joni” Platform Ankle Strap Sandals

UPDATE (06/10/2013): Just discovered that ShoeMint‘s “Joni” heels are a pretty good match to the pricey Jimmy Choos! Yay!

Vince Camuto “Magel” Stud-Embellished Crisscross Sandals

Now I know these high heel sandals by Vince Camuto are not an identical match for Jimmy Choo’s “Jade” heels, but you can obviously tell that these are highly inspired by them. The VC sandals have crisscross straps and the heel is also one inch shorter, but the black faceted crystals? Jackpot! And since the crystals are the most prominent feature about the Choos, I think the Vince Camutos here would be a great Choo substitute for a whole lot less money (did I mention these are currently on sale for only $62.99? No? Well, you’re welcome!). Also available in brown multi.
